  1. Refs have decided that after a he bad roughing call, they are going to more than even it up.
  2. I’ve gotten several minutes in against them before, as they get slowed down by attacks and I run in circles. I don’t believe they are killable.
  3. David Fisman for example. Who was on the Ontario Covid Science Advisory Table (the most influential scientific group in Canada during the pandemic), also had lots of media gigs in Canada as a talking head. They were the ones who convinced the government to keep closing the schools here -- and actually argued against the government reopening them when they did in January. It's been getting lots of chatter among many of the leaders in the Canadian health community over the last few days.
  4. I just got to the 16-bit section. It certainly is difficult, but I don't think it gets as hard as a Rogue Legacy, or games of that ilk. Pattern memorization is certainly key.
  5. That one is C$3,300.... Still tough to justify. Looking at the Alienware QD OLED one as an option... $1,649 (ultrawide 1440p).
  6. Some doctors are now arguing that the schools being closed for the better part of 2 years had no impact on children's mental health. Not that it was a better option, but that it had no negative impact. The last time my kids had their schools closed was January 2022.
  7. Any suggestions on specific models? The Asus PG32UX is C$4k -- so I am ruling that out. The 32" Odyssey Neo G7 is C$1,300 -- so that is in my price range (but haven't read reviews yet).

  9. If you're after price, why wouldn't you go 6600XT. How does A770 compete with a 3060TI with DLSS turned on?
  10. My point is that PC gamers, for the most part, don't. MS had this revelation several years ago, and now releases their games on Steam day-and-date.
  11. Sony is making a stink about CoD, because they want to make 30% on CoD sales. And, they think that some console buyers will decide to get an Xbox next gen, instead of a PS5. IMHO, PC gamers will generally buy their games on Steam if given the choice.
  12. Finished up the Ascent and it's DLC. Tried Guardians of the Galaxy -- found it ran like $#!+ on Steam Deck, so stopped Played a few hours of The Outer Wilds -- decided it wasn't my jam Playing "The Messenger" -- about 4 hours in. Man, how did I not play this before? Pure gaming goodness.
  13. Sony is not in the console business. They are in the digital store front business, and to a smaller extent the game publishing business. Getting PC gamers to buy their consoles (at a loss) for the exclusives, IMHO, doesn't really help their store front. Because, most PC gamers are still buying most of their games on Steam/EGS (or publisher specific store fronts).
  14. Isn't it already standardized for phones? When someone decides to deviate, it will because they have a technology/feature that Qi can't provide.
  15. The way we charge devices is still changing rapidly. By 2025/2026 I would be surprised if new Apple phones still accept a cable.
