  1. Musk, like many people in tech, is an autist. Or at least somewhere on the spectrum.
  2. I follow Musk on Twitter, and one of the things he's proposed doing it getting rid of the bot accounts that are used to spam actual users. I think this is a good thing. For popular accounts/tweets, it's hard to get a tweet in edgewise because there are so many bots spamming a tweet.
  3. Is Elon really a conservative though? His thoughts are all over the political compass.
  4. My mom just got it, but is doing well according to my wife. My dad hasn't contracted it yet though. We were with them this weekend for Easter, so if we don't get it in the next few days, we are probably in the clear.
  5. The queen should pull the reverse card and dissolve the Canadian government.
  6. Probably designed and crafted by an artisan in Portland, Oregon.
  7. Before I went low carb/high fat ~8 years ago, I would eat my cereal not with milk, but with apple juice. Not all cereals though. It would usually be with a fruity tasting cereal like Fruity Pebbles or Fruit Loops. This wasn't a good combo with a chocolate tasting cereal, for instance.
  8. I don't think there is a requirement that they do so. It's not like 5.56 would cease to be produced - the civilian market alone for this ammunition is huge, which means manufacturers around the world will continue to pump out millions upon millions of rounds every year. If the Italian army (or whoever) wants to continue to use 5.56, I'm sure they'll be able to do so for decades. If anything, first adopters of the new rifle and round will have issues with getting enough of the ammo that they need, not the countries that choose to hold off on switching.
  9. It's the "first edition" or whatever, so the price is insanely high, but within a few years it should come done to more affordable levels. I doubt it will be as cheap as a mil-spec AR-15, due to the fact that Sig will have a monopoly on the design for years to come.
  10. Biden is correct (politically). Trying enforce something that is unpopular, even if it is scientifically sound, is a great way to have your party lose even more seats this November.
  11. If we all rolled coal the particulate in the atmosphere would help curb global warming due to blotting out the sun. Checkmate libs
  12. This is all a great discussion, as we too are trying to find a church that fits us well. At the Baptist church we attended in Oregon, the pastor outed a member of the church for adultery in front of the entire congregation. Sorry, I'm not going to choose a place like that. Not a fan of baptist and evangelical interpretations of the bible and morality in general.
  13. I just started reading "the nones" for my religion in America class. Has a lot of data on the downward trend in religion in the us. https://www.amazon.com/Nones-Where-They-Came-Going/dp/1506465854?ref_=d6k_applink_bb_dls
  14. If you want Musk to pay taxes on his insane wealthy - this is how you do it. Musk would have to liquidate somewhere around $60 billion to buy Twitter for $43 billion. The remainder would cover the taxes - which would be the biggest tax bill on an individual in history.
  15. If James is a resident of New York, what ever gun store sold him that gun is going to get federally fuuuuucked.
  16. But it was done in the spirit of saving the environment, so give the government some slack.
  17. Unless we are going to source fuel from algae, biofuel is a boondoggle.
  18. The Democrats will absolutely not be able to convince voters this November that inflation isn't their fault.
