(blu-ray) [Also streaming on Mubi] Decision to Leave: 8/10 Decision to Leave is the latest banger from Park Chan-wook. It's a love story of sorts but not quite, about a detective who takes a lot of pride in his work. A possible suicide turns into a murder investigation and the victim's wife is investigated as a possible murder suspect. The wife has some quirks of her own and the detective grows fond of her himself. Then from there in typical Park Chan-wook things get a little twisted. If you're accustomed to his previous films you might expect some craziness here but it is a bit toned down in that respect. However, the film is presented in such a way that you're always wanting to see what's next. The cinematography is engaging. It has a weird style where a flashback kind of happens with the characters in the same room, or they will zoom to a video of a person and then the scene just switches to that scene. I dunno hard to explain, easier to see. With this director's pedigree you'll most likely want to see this movie anyway.

On top of that playing in Hardcore mode you run out of ammo a lot so I figure it would be a good last resort thing because you can retrieve the bolts. I ran out of ammo in one encounter and had to take out a chainsaw dude with my knife.

I think maybe what he could be getting at is you can upgrade a weapon and sell it for the same amount so you don't actually lose money

I think durability goes down only if you hit enemies with it. If you're asking if the knife gets damaged by breaking barrels it does not.

Yeah finger stuff bothers me too. Heck even things that are painless give me the creeps. Like I knew a person and he whipped out some scissors at the bus stop and cut his finger nails with scissors.
