Every time I read about a mass shooting, it's always violent until the guy shoots himself. =\ But anyway... What the article says is something that I think many gun control advocates understand: gun violence is a national issue because only when you have a national standard do you have the most effective gun violence prevention since people can't go out-of-state to circumvent gun laws. I applaud Massachusetts, though, for keeping gun violence much lower overall.

Massachusetts has the lowest amounts of gun deaths in the nation with its permit-to-purchase program. How to get one: Gun death stats in Massachusetts versus states with higher gun ownership: Police chiefs like the system: Data supports gun laws such as Massachusetts' laws: A lot of laws have to work together:

Mueller Season 3: The End Game
SaysWho? replied to CitizenVectron's topic in The Political Re-Education Camp
I just watched the Netflix documentary on Roger Stone. What amazed me was listening to Stone, listening to Manafort, and loling at their positions now. Stone especially reminds me of some arrogant middle schooler. -
I hear Until Dawn had a better scare. Where is that video? EDIT: Realizing Google exists, I get the answer in around 2 - 3 seconds.

I've been defending Florida for a while since I live here and moved back here; it's a great state (though it's fun to make fun of because even people who live in Florida think the weirdest stories come out of here). But everybody thinks a place is nice(r) when they move to said place. Everywhere new I go seems pristine because I haven't discovered its underbelly. The best places in Florida are ones that are Democratic, straight-up. The worst places are the rural areas, stricken with poverty and dying small towns. Nobody really wants to move to the Panhandle versus Tampa, Orlando or South Florida in general. We're not dying to move to Bell or Sebring or Clewiston. A lot of them actually pay for landscaping and beautifying the area; so many areas in Palm Beach County look gorgeous because they use tax money to put in tons of beautiful parks and places to go. Have you been to Denver? It's amazing. Boulder looks phenomenal. Tons of nice people and it's turned into a reliably blue state with many progressive politics. Hell, people like to make fun of NYC mainly because people are aggressive in traffic, particularly in Manhattan, but some of the nicest people I know are people from the northeast and NYC. Some of the best of small businesses, mom and pop restaurants, and family-owned establishments are all there, and it's always an amazing experience. The idea that, "This place is nicer but redder," is really just southern pride silliness that's translated into conservative pride. Arizona is likely gorgeous. You're going to find a ton to love, I'm sure (the west in general seems like an amazing place that I look forward to revisiting this summer). I probably wouldn't mind taking a job there if I was thinking of going somewhere new. It's not because Democrats/Republicans.

Thanks. I do wonder how it'll do since I remember when TNA moved to Monday nights, and I was really hoping they could be competitive with WWE, but someone on IGN brought up to me that it's hard to compare TNA with WCW because WCW had more years in the industry and a larger fan base it built before Nitro was a thing. With this, it seems WAY newer, so it still might be a wait before we get something that's a threat to WWE. Then again, I've been of the opinion that, even with no big wrestling organization to threaten them, they still have to compete with what's on, whether it's a UFC event, the NFL, the NBA, what have you. But since there's a hardcore wrestling base that wants to watch SOMETHING good that's wrestling, maybe it would hit them harder if the hardcore fans felt they didn't have to follow WWE at all. That last part was rambling shit that I've thought about and not that important.

Sony Days Gone OT - Queasy Rider (Update: Horde DLC)
SaysWho? replied to Pikachu's topic in The Spawn Point
fml, there goes my, "herp derp no videos," shit. -
I've heard so much about AEW, but since I don't follow wrestling closely right now, I have no idea why there's so much hype. Please school the n00b. It's not even the too many people. When it was two hours but half the roster of potential main eventers, they always short-changed a bunch of people. Their problem is pacing, where matches will go on past the commercial break regularly (I'm assuming that's still the case now), instead of creating shorter matches (they don't even have to be Attitude Era short). If the matches weren't so long, they could do more. Does Raw really need to have two segments devoted to Becky Lynch being told to apologize? That kind of thing. They could probably actually do two hours but give more people time to shine and improve the pacing.

Sony Days Gone OT - Queasy Rider (Update: Horde DLC)
SaysWho? replied to Pikachu's topic in The Spawn Point
From what I remember, Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, Spider-Man and now Days Gone all had a combination of: Hands-on previews at least a month prior to release Deep dive videos that go over gameplay mechanics and the world Early reviews due to confidence in the game Lots of advertising I remember tons of impressions and previews before Horizon came out; it just didn't have the deep dive videos. I know you don't do it, but much of the doubt for HZD or GOW or Days Gone usually consists of concern trolling for people who aren't interested. Due to it being a while since Bend did a console game as they've beefed up other people's IPs on handhelds for a while, my expectation is that Days Gone will be a really good game but maybe not the level of almost all their big games since Bloodborne. If they really pull off something special, then I'll be ecstatic for them because then the studio can attract more excitement.
