  2. Fuck, I was beaten to the punch! But that's what I get for trying to match wits with you!
  3. Keyser gave me an Xbox One S, making him the best human being on the planet next to everyone else who posts here.
  4. I will at least say the Chinatown is a great movie! Much like your posts!

  6. During the 2016 election, I was watching a story on what drove some evangelical voters on the issues and what they liked or didn't like about Trump. And when asked about his divorces, this one evangelical lady said something like, "Well, it's a sin, but it's not like he's the only one! I've had a divorce, my husband's had a divorce, it's really not that big a deal!" So they have tiers, apparently, and "teh gays!!11" don't cut it. If they sinned, though, it's probably not so bad since they know they're good people.
  7. “I have prepared her taxes for several years,” Fivecoate said of Bailey Brazzel in a statement shared with WTHR. “This year she came in with her wife and I declined to prepare the taxes because of my religious beliefs. I am a Christian and I believe marriage is between one man and one woman. I was very respectful to them. I told them where I thought she might be able to get her taxes prepared.”
  8. The media didn't consider [Bernie] a real contender the last time, so what press he got was largely positive. That's about to change.
  9. I missed out on that fun, then. I remember doubts that 8GB GDDR5 would be a thing, or that it would be affordable if it had 8GB GDDR5 at the time. Sounds like some people got a little too excited.

  11. I saw the last frame of that in a tweet response to the tweet I quoted, but I didn't know it was part of a larger comic. Nice!
  12. This game used a different engine than the later developed RE Engine. The graphics looked great (though no word at that time whether they were legit), it was a new IP, things are looking up. In 2014, more footage released: What, Assassin's souls? It takes place in the future? And it's graphically way different. Still good, but definitely not the first trailer. Impressions from Polygon were OK. Maybe the game could be improved. And then... nothing. As someone from Reset said: "2015 2016 2017 2018 - the trademark is renewed! 2019... hope has faded again." So what happened? Here's word from an insider: https://www.resetera.com/threads/deep-down-trademark-extended-again-by-capcom.46404/page-2#post-8642913 Sub 10fps, initial trailer was a constant bullshot, it wasn't fun, it was failing. The only reason I'm posting is thread is because I saw someone else do it, and we're almost at the 6-year mark from the PS4 intro event (and probably a little under 2 years away from next gen). I also didn't know all this other stuff about Deep Down, including the gameplay impressions, so now that I found it out, I'm like, "...I guess it really wasn't going to be great to begin with lol."
