lol Has he not followed Virginia? Its change from a reliably Republican state, to voting Democratic in 2008 for the first time since LBJ in 1964 during his sweep, to voting for the Democrat each year, even in a Democratic loss year in 2016, has been remarkable. He sounds as if he's unaware that it recently turned bluer in the past decade.

I just realized there are three live-action Disney movies based on animated movies coming out this year (Dumbo, Aladdin, Lion King even though that's mostly animated lol). Damn. -
A watermark can briefly be seen in Frozen's world.

Robin Williams also never wanted to have his character be the center of the advertising, IIRC (even though they made the Genie the center of advertising). I'm not expecting Will Smith to copy Robin Williams. He did his thing, and now Smith will do his. Just like Romero's Joker, Nicholson's Joker, and Hamill's Joker were their own, and Ledger's was his. For the new Star Trek films, some of the characters, like Bones, seemed very true to the original, but Chris Pine, IIRC, said he didn't want to try to mimic Shatner's character and voice completely because he wouldn't be able to live up to it. So he did his own thing but took some of the personality traits from Shatner's Kirk. It may not work for this movie, but I'd rather Will Smith do his own thing, and if I watch, I'm gonna put Williams' genie out of my mind as much as possible. -
I know the XFL failed in large part because of how bad the product was, and it was positioned to be real professional football. From what I'm reading, they want good football, obviously, but they're "complimentary" to the NFL, and they end their season early, so it's almost like a developmental league for the NFL if players want to move up. And I think with that mindset and those expectations, it may end up doing well. We'll see!

Obama laughed and then commuted thousands of non-violent drug offenses. Not really that big of a deal unless laughing meant that someone who sold pot died of measles. I'm more confused as to why Democrats make these kinds of decisions when often they reverse it later and sponsor positive drug reform (she has an A from NORML, for example). Can they not read the tea leaves when polling and national momentum indicate otherwise?

I was thinking about this recently: I think all remakes should have the original game in it. Shadow of the Beast did that, but everything from Yakuza to Shadow of the Colossus to RE2 should have the original for comparison's sake, to appreciate the original and, hey, maybe you'll find the original look endearing in its own way.

https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/02/10/alliance-american-football-opening-night-highlights-ratings The caveat, of course, is that the XFL originally drew big ratings as well, but they quickly crashed. Let's see how the AAF does over time! The XFL debuts next year.

I didn't realize FF characters weren't in KH3. News to me. Then again, it doesn't really need it. The Disney worlds and characters were the main draw for me.
