Sony Demon’s Souls crashing, won’t eject disc.

Man, if you think arguing digital vs physical in a random thread is d1p fashion and not just the way of the gaming world, I don't know what to tell you. -
Never heard of Pentatonix before New Year's Eve/Day, but they were on NBC doing a capella to Auld Lang Syne, and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, some people texted this person during the performance. Boo. Here's the studio version:

While the servers and stores exist, sure. I'm sure if you bought a game on Stadia, you're set for life. -

Same. There are tons of great physical sales, and I like being able to play whatever from years past by owning the disc. Streaming has a lot of advantages, but I hate that I don't just own something like the entire Bojack Horseman series on physical and digital. -

Divided government is gonna do that, and it's why I continue to make to point to people that you're not going to get compromise with divided government; you'll just get nothing done and complain that Congress gets nothing done. I'd rather have the Senate, though, since that body picks the Cabinet and judges. But man, I remember the first two years of the Obama administration, much of the refrain was how the Senate should go and house we just should have a House to represent Americans. When Dems lost the House, that mindset went right out the window since the Senate didn't allow much of the crazy stuff from the House to get a vote. -

Part of the game's difficulty. Good luck, Umbasa. -

I didn't know that about the majority leader position. Interesting, thanks. I'll say that they certainly mattered in the Obama years when Dems lost the House but kept the Senate. If Dems had the Senate but not the House, we still wouldn't have a bill heading toward the White House. -
I'd be surprised otherwise considering Ghost is in an open world. I feel it's easier to make a game like TLOU2, which is a visual marvel in so many ways, look as good as possible when there are fewer dynamic factors than a game such as Ghost. But it's not really a knock on TLOU2; the game is a stunner. And it performs far more consistently than TLOU did, both functioning as swan songs for their respective console, as TLOU dipped a ton in frame rate while TLOU2 didn't. I'm sure PS4's simpler architecture helped tremendously over the PS3 cell.

Movies Disney-Pixar's Soul has reviews up, and....

I was pleasantly surprised by Cars 3. Not great, but it was a good movie and an upgrade from Cars 2, which was just weird and felt out of place after Ratatouille/WALL-E/Up/Toy Story 3. I was bored by Brave. I looked forward to it for so long -- new IP, medieval times, and the synopsis of the plot made it seem like they were going to fire on all cylinders with the story's potential. But it ended up feeling small. And not in an intimate way. -
They play worse as well. You're not getting a 1080p/60fps experience (or 1440p/120fps as was advertised). You're getting 30fps Hellblade/Valhalla/Evil Within/Sekiro, sometimes 900p games from last gen, and we just started. Doesn't seem to be a point to play next-gen games long-term since it's not even upgrading your Xbox One games that much.

Bernie Sanders pressures Senate to vote on $2,000 stimulus checks by threatening delay of defense bill veto override - The Washington Post WWW.WASHINGTONPOST.COM Sen. Bernie Sanders said he would keep senators in D.C. through New Year's Eve by delaying a vote to override President Trump's defense bill veto unless Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell also schedules a vote on $2,000 stimulus checks.
