  1. I don't remember PS3 and particularly PS4 having major launch issues, especially compared to the 360 and PS2.

  3. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago neighbours want to block him from moving there after White House WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK Trump signed a deal in 1993 that bars him from using the private club as a permanent residence Haha.
  4. GEE ZUZ, the base Xbox gets crushed on a different level. Grainy, blurry, sub-720p at times, freezing for nearly a minute, teens FPS, holy shit. Pro/One X seem to be decent if you want to play it (in terms of performance it looks like it's Pro >> XBOX >>>>>>>>>>>>>> PS4>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>XBO), and PS5/XSX gives much a much better performance as you'd expect, but I decided to wait until it comes to current gen.

Soul is a sweet mash-up of earlier, deeper Pixar adventures FILM.AVCLUB.COM Pixar's latest, Soul, is an appealing hodgepodge of past triumphs—a little of Coco’s afterlife adventure, lassoed to the high concept of director Pete Docter’s previous film for the studio, Inside Out. ‘Soul’ Review: From the Minds Behind ‘Inside Out’ Comes an Even Deeper Look at What Makes People Tick VARIETY.COM Pixar gives audiences a fresh way to think about the dimension that defines their personality in a cartoon with a predominantly Black cast. There are a few more lukewarm positive reviews, of course, and when the movie arrives, perhaps some of us will come out of the movie with that perspective. I will say I've quite loved the previews and hope this movie nails it. Wish we could have seen it last summer as was scheduled, but COVID sucks.
  6. More than five weeks after election result declared, McConnell congratulates Biden on his victory WWW.NBCNEWS.COM "Today, I want to congratulate President-elect Biden," the Senate majority leader said on Tuesday.
  7. Does anyone remember the tweet about a modern day conservative being like a gambling addict playing the slots: all buildup, no payoff? I think it was in reference to Giuliani always having some bombshell lawsuit or discovery only for it to play like a wet fart in the wind. It'd be easier to find if the threads weren't merged; I can't even remember who tweeted it.

  10. I introduced the trilogy to the lady, and she thoroughly enjoyed it, but TDK was definitely my favorite to watch with her because the Joker was legitimately scaring her. There was that scene where Bruce goes undercover during the funeral and finds those men stripped of their clothing because the Joker and his men took it so they could shoot Gordon. Before the reveal and before one of the men explained what happened, she pieced together what happened and then went, "Oh no...." Watching the movie again, the Joker's presence is near relentless. So good.
  11. The Dark Knight, Shrek to be preserved by the Library of Congress WWW.POLYGON.COM The two films join 23 others in showcasing the diversity of cinema’s history Chronologically: Suspense (1913) Kid Auto Races at Venice (1914) Bread (1918) The Battle of the Century (1927) With Car and Camera Around the World (1929) Cabin in the Sky (1943) Outrage (1950) The Man with the Golden Arm (1955) Lilies of the Field (1963) A Clockwork Orange (1971) Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song (1971) Wattstax (1973) Grease (1978) The Blues Brothers (1980) Losing Ground (1982) Illusions (1982) The Joy Luck Club (1993) The Devil Never Sleeps (1994) Buena Vista Social Club (1999) The Ground (1993-2001) Shrek (2001) Mauna Kea: Temple Under Siege (2006) The Hurt Locker (2008) The Dark Knight (2008) Freedom Riders (2010) The Library of Congress deserved a better class of criminal, and Nolan and Co. gave it to them. That library belongs to them now.
  12. Massachusetts, Oregon, Montana, Missouri, California, Texas, and Hawaii are the only ones left. 0 faithless electors so far.
  13. What's voted so far: To Trump's dismay, GA, AZ, NV, WI, and PA all vote. Throw VA, NH, and MN in there for good measure for states that were not close at all this year but were considered swing states.
  14. It wasn't obviously Tarkin/Vader lol. Their relationship was completely different and the characters were completely different. Kylo and Hux didn't like each other from the start. And nobody was afraid of Vader because the whole "chosen one" thing wasn't a thing. Him being anyone's father wasn't a thing. It was just a self-contained movie where Tarkin was more of a baddie who was in control of the Death Star.
  15. Who cares what fans "want?" Nobody cared in the OT; a story was told and you either liked it or you didn't. I'm a fan; I didn't give a shit. I didn't "ask" for anything; I enjoyed a great movie without asking for Tarkin Part 2.
