  1. I saw this headline and decided I didn't want anything to know about the fight... Vitor Belfort stops Evander Holyfield in first, calls out Jake Paul for $30 million 'winner take all' fight - CBSSports.com WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM Belfort made easy work of 58-year-old Holyfield
  2. I always just assumed that because you can easily look up who these people are in the Internet these days, Republicans sort of shoes away from publicly acknowledging them. Then again, that could very well be the case in 2021 and nobody gave Trump the memo because he wouldn't be able to read it anyway.
  3. Trump certainly enjoyed being called a messiah a few years ago, but I'm talking about the Moons here and by that I mean the founders of the Unification Church. I only know about this church so much because I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how a friend of my wife's, a young white girl living in Massachusetts, got caught up in this church.
  4. I'm shocked there aren't more tech MLMs. I remember a bunch of folks getting caught up in Excel Communications back in the late 80s/early 90s. I'm glad nobody I know for wrapped up in LuLaRoe. I do know a bunch that got caught up in Herbalife. Though, these days whenever I think of Herbalife all I can remember is their side story in Los Espookys.
  5. This is an interesting one. I wonder how Trump's white evangelical supporters are going to react if they knew he delivered a speech to the church of a self-proclaimed messiah. They'll probably fake news it, but it's also one of those things that this group of followers will be very sensitive to.
  6. When the choice for family TV is either one of these shows or Daniel Tiger learns to deal with his fish dying for the thousandth time, The Floor is Lava is award-winning shit I want pumped directly into my veins. My youngest are too young to understand anything more complicated than PBS, but people falling on their faces is hilarious no matter how young you are.
  7. Fuck every single one of us... You can now buy a $475 NFT ticket to see Beeple’s $69 million NFT at an IRL party WWW.THEVERGE.COM There’s *definitely* no other way to see this image. Nothing like burning through a ton of electricity just to see a JPG projected on a wall. I'm sure the event will be very nice. I'm also sure there was no other way to sell these tickets...no no, wait, they're also selling regular tickets for $150. Nothing like paying $475 for a digital copy of a $150 ticket. Everyone can just jump right off the nearest cliff.
  8. That's because you normally decompress after watching a movie in theaters. Even if it's the last thing you do at night, you still need to go home while thinking about the movie. When you're watching a movie at home you can often just roll over into another activity or even into another movie. It's the same reason I've never enjoyed double features unless the second is a sequel to the first.
  9. There's more Tatsu on the way... Not sure if that's a worldwide date, but I'll take more.
  10. One, I don't believe it. Two, this would be like the dumbest thing ever. You get so many vaccines the day you join. It reminds me of two people; my father, who always said needles never bothered him after being forced a bunch of jet injected vaccines during his stint and a friend of mine whose gut bacteria was so destroyed by the antibiotics the Army had him on in Afghanistan he basically became allergic to like everything when got for back home. Nothing a fecal transplant couldn't fix, though.
  11. No idea. Last I checked was for some family that didn't like needles, but that was like a month or so ago. Luckily it was actually available then, but no idea about now. It's certainly harder to find. There are only a few places left in my city that are still offering J&J. Amazingly, there are a couple of places that only offer J&J and do have available appointments, so I'm guessing they must have something there.
  12. Blah...Putting in a religious exemption is the same as not even having a mandate. That's unfortunate. I know here in Massachusetts I can pick and choose which vaccine I want because they're all being offered, but this is also Massachusetts versus Utah. We're already at like 75% with at least one shot. Unfortunately, I can't yet request an mRNA booster because there has been no guidance on what a J&J booster looks like. Spread it to all contractors, even to firms like Lockheed and Raytheon. That would cover me as well and there are a few anti-vaxxers in the office whose heads would rightfully explode. It would be glorious.
  13. Anyplace stretched with anti-vax nurses are stretched because of anti-vax plague hosts. Let these nurses find work somewhere that doesn't accept Medicare and Medicaid.
  14. That's been a common fallback for people I talk to that don't want to admit it's purely political at this point in time. As have I, but it's normally in regards to mRNA vaccines and the technology's relative newness.
  15. Because it sounds too much like DNA, so it's an easy way for the old school anti-vaxxers out there to recruit new ones into the fold with dumb stories about how they change you DNA. This is also the first major vaccine using mRNA tech and new stuff is scary. If you actually sat down with one of these COVID anti-vaxxers, that is not a MMR vaccine gives you autism kind of person, the reasons they'll list all tie back to basically "mRNA is new and scary". However, in many cases, those are just a front. It's usually just political. As soon as you point out J&J isn't an mRNA vaccine, they'll just say something about how it isn't as effective as the other vaccine's as if that's a valid point.
  16. More than 99% of the disinformation regarding the COVID-19 vaccines is stupid conspiracies surrounding mRNA. Everything from it supports abortions to it changes your DNA to it makes you infertile to it's designed to kill you a year after you've taken it. The J&J vaccine is a traditional, not mRNA vaccine. Anti-vaxxer are straight ignoring this vaccine even exists right now because it's not that scary sounding mRNA stuff. None of the fear mongering surround these vaccines other than "it's secretly a microchip" apply to the J&J vaccine.
  17. Anyone freaked out over mRNA vaccines because of Facebook disinformation can just go get a J&J vaccine and avoid all of it. It's "super weird" how so much of the anti-vax nonsense out there just pretends the J&J vaccine doesn't exist.
  18. Cool, so we've found something else to spread the side effects instead; and just in time, too.
  19. I thought the same. If DC's plan is to tap some more untraditional talent and tackle these characters from a new perspective, then I'm all for it.
  20. The first Webtoons series is up... Batman: Wayne Family Adventures | WEBTOON WWW.WEBTOONS.COM Batman needs a break. But with new vigilante Duke Thomas moving into Wayne Manor and an endless supply of adopted, fostered, and biological superhero children to manage, Bruce Wayne is going to have... ...and it's a Batman slice of life series taking place inside Wayne Manor. I'll give it a shot.
