Ed is actually only in like half of the original show. From like episodes 9 to 23, something like that.

1. I still have no idea how well this show is going to translate overall to live-action, but it sure seems like they're going all-out on trying to recreate the aesthetics of the anime as much as possible. if it's bad, it's not gonna be because they didn't care about the source material. 2. It looks like they're doing an episode with Maria Murdoch, the Eco-terrorist with a bunch of oafish henchmen who both looks and sounds like Mom from Futurama. Which is delightful.
