I'd love the concept of being a bounty hunter, and have different ways to get my bounty, but I'd prefer it in third person and have customization options so I can pick how my character looks.

It's not even the fact that it's a kernel level anti cheat since most of the good, effective ones are anyway and I've played games like Warzone that use them, it's that this particular AC is so sketchy, and has a lot of negativity around it, apparently not even uninstalling properly once the game is uninstalled. I'll probably crack anyway and still get this game, but damn I'd feel a lot more assured if they decided to switch to a different system. Probably only went with this one because it was cheap or something.

Definitely going for that Guardians of the Galaxy feel.

Read this game uses an anti-cheat called nProtect GameGuard, and reading the complaints about that AC, make me second guess installing this game on my computer Doubt Arrowhead could/would change to a less controversial, and invasive AC at this point either.

Well yes of course, that should be their number one priority right now, I meant in a future update much further down the line from now. Just a random thought I had while bored at work. Hell I don't even own the game yet, which I suppose should really change soon so I can hopefully hop in and play with some of you guys.

I know the developers said they wouldn't add in PvP because they want to avoid any toxicity forming in the community, but I took that as Helldivers vs. Helldivers, but what about Helldivers vs. player controlled bugs/robots ala Left 4 Dead? That might work.

This is also true. Take advantage of any sale since Nintendo games don't typically go down in price even 7 years later.

You could always buy one now to build up a library, and then sell it when the Switch successor is out and get that, which will more than likely be backwards compatible.

Given the huge success of this game, and the change of perspective from the first game, it makes me wonder if they could do the same for potential Magicka 3. I can't remember if I played a demo for the first Magicka and didn't care for it, or if reviews didn't sell me on it (I think I remember @Xbob42 being into it), but thinking about that style of over the top spells from a third person, over the shoulder perspective seems like it could be a lot of fun.

Honestly if the PS5 Pro comes out this year, I'm fine with waiting until next year for the Switch successor since I'll more than likely get a PS5 Pro first.

I figured it would be a March 2025 release anyway. I think Nintendo just doesn't want to release hardware around the holidays anymore as it's too crowded, and there isn't enough supply for the demand.
