Makes me wonder what an eclipse was like 2 million years ago when the Moon was closer to Earth, and therefore would have covered the Sun just a little bit more. Hell what was it like 50 million years ago?

There was a Chipotle at a food court in a local mall that had cockroaches. Someone posted a TikTok of one running across the counter a few months ago.

Was really cloudy all day, but it cleared up a little bit during the peak. Some kid at work bought a pair of glasses, so I was able to look at it. Pretty cool as all I saw was a red sliver at about 99% totality where I was. It didn't really get as dark as I was thinking based on what people were saying. Just looked like a storm was coming in and getting dark from that if I didn't know any better. I wonder if that small percentage makes a difference, and places with 100% total coverage were darker.

I remember hoping Arkham Knight would use the Nemesis System. I could go for a Nolan-eque inspired Batman game where it's a bit more realistic, slowed down, and focused more on stealth and detective work.

Didn't really pay much attention to the eclipse coming up, but now I'm wondering if I should get some glasses to be able to look at it since my area will have like 99.996 percent coverage, it's just the quality of some glasses I'm questioning because how many shoddy ones are out there that while they say are ISO certified, they actually aren't and will damage your eyes by using them.
