With me I'm usually pretty negative on games. Give me an example where I hyped something up that didn't deserve it?

I loved Spider-Man 2 but kinda was annoyed by venom rather than impressed.

Stepee is usually pretty good with opinions on games even though he is very forgiving. His opinion about Alan Wake 2 is awful and falls in line with the other fanboys in the industry giving it GOTY or runner-up. I will never touch the game again. It's a cluster fuck of a story and the gameplay is so freakin shallow. I still love you stepee!

Stepee is a fanboy for Remedy so its like taking my opinion about RDR2 and agreeing with it.

The "gameplay" is extremely basic and average. No way a game like that deserves GOTY. It seems like some fanboys are trying to give it more credit than it deserves just for their own vindication and to support Remedy. It's by no means a bad game but it doesn't do anything really great. The story like cnut said is wonky as hell, too.

That's great news. I hope it hits gamepass later next year. I don't want to buy it but just check out the visuals.

I started another playthrough with this dlc catching my attention. It's better than GOW 2018 and I'm currently playing that, too.

I am only joking around. I couldn't care less who the fuck wins GOTY. BG3 was a revolutionary RPG in a lot of ways so imo it deserves GOTY. I have played Alan Wake 2 (14 hours) and it's definitely not a GOTY, period. Zelda deserves it's nods, too.

I personally won't play the dlc but now I'm in the mood to play Ragnarok again.

Unfuckin believable Spider-Man getting robbed every where. Alan Wake 2 is a good game but it getting these 2nd place nods is a joke.

Not fun. The base game was hard enough and if the dev team can't beat it is it even balanced? I play all my games on the easiest difficult now because my skills completely diminished.

I have a good feeling about dragons dogma 2. It will definitely be "next-gen" visually.
