  1. Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes (iOS game) nothing on earth remotely compares to the grind of this game or the absurd levels to which people spend real world money on it. Capital Games are THE WORST develops in all of gaming. IF you don't believe, just check out the "fan" sites and the hate they have for CG. CG, incidentally is a subdivision of EA, and yet is somehow worse than EA every has been.
  2. https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-2077-has-been-delayed-again/ Which effectively confirms it as a next gen title as far as I'm concerned.
  3. Still working on a time machine so I can go back and teach him how to be a dad!
  4. Speaking of the future, while AMD Mobo's (and later this year intel) have already implemented PCIe 4.0, PCIe 5.0 was formalized last May and PCIe 6.0 is due next year! Also, DDR5 will be showing up to the party in 2021! Edit: for reference, AMD has stated that they will begin PCIe 5.0 support in 2022 on their mobos.
  5. Pork, by a lot. That said, I wouldn't say no to beef ribs.
  6. Pretty sensible recommendations though honestly, I'd just sit tight until late Q3 to Early Q4 before buying anything. I'm currently running an i9-9900KS so I still on PCIe 3.0 but that literally does not and will not matter for around another year, by which time I'll probably be running the next generation of Ryzen (First AMD CPU since Athlon64!) and have more speed or cores than remotely required for gaming along with the upgrade to PCIe 4.0. I always run at least 32Gb of RAM so no issue there. And finally whatever Nvidia and AMD are cooking up for GPUs will clearly be pretty powerful simple based on the fact that the Xbox Series X GPU is essentially a main streamed 2070 super or 2080, so you know that This fall's new round of GPUs will easily dwarf the 2080 power level. 2021 should be a pretty good year for PC hardware as a whole, with Intel hungry to fight back in the CPU sector and full entry into the GPU sector. AMD will continue to set the pace and eat market share, and Nvidia will likely provide many new features to support its GPUs as while it enjoys the high end slot for PC gaming, its sort of the odd man out with AMD eating up most of the console lunch and enjoying a renaissance in the last year on PC. Nvidia has to keep coming up with reasons that its high end cards are "worth it" as by Christmas of 2020, Ray Tracing will be a bullet on everyone's box. This fact alone make me wonder if its true that they will add a co-processor to their GPU series this time around in a bid to remove the RT overhead cost on their cards and allow the main die to focus on traditional render. Should be fun to watch!
  7. And to ensure there is a HUGE potential user base to give it any hope of succeeding. I'm sure it will get patched for next gen shortly after next gen consoles launch.
  8. Twitter is ever the format by which to break such issues down. Well done, group of college educated adults.
  9. Wacky rumors, keep on wacking! https://wccftech.com/nvidia-traversal-coprocessor-rtx-3090-gpu/
  10. Its all rumors, but yes, the idea is that the 3090 will be the replacement for the Titan. Who know if this is true though.
  11. I personally think that the PC architecture issue will likely be addressed right around the same time UE5 engine games are actually a thing and not just hype demos. According to Tim Sweeney UE5 won't even be fully available to developers until the end of 2021. So at best there might be a handful of games using it by Summer 2022. That's a long time in PC terms to make some changes both at the OS/API levels and hardware.
  12. Also, @HGLatinBoy let’s hope I’m shipping you this 2080ti in the next 90 days! It’s felt like an eternity since I ear marked this puppy for you!
  13. I really hope they launch the flagship first like with the 20xx series!
  14. Yup, certainly had Some of the aesthetic of Death stranding, and certainly some cryptic wackiness, so I thought the same.
  15. Its totally valid to like different things, I can't stress that enough. To each their own! My eyes, though I've tried to discuss the matter with them calmly, tell me that the PS5 looks "Effortlessly Assy".
