I'm nitpicking here, but The actual story the player will be experiencing was not written by Martin. He created a foundation of the Elden Ring world, the mythos and backstory. I wouldn't say the story was written by Martin because of that. Another way to look at it is Martin created Westeros and Miyazaki created Game of Thrones. Oh yes. 100%. Unless they actually put a story in the game this time. Even Sekiro barely had a story. 90% of a Dark Souls story is told in the opening cinematic. Lore doesn't make a story. The reddit-scraping YouTube videos don't count as a story either.
