Keyboard has always been total ass for these games. There are some really good players who use keyboard, but it does have a learning curve. If you aren't a stranger to a gamepad I suggest you use one.

Nope. Class is just how you start. Use whatever weapon you like that goes with your build. Like there are always greatsword using mage players in these games due to a famous weapon that scales off int. Not exactly sure of the method in the game but you can basically change the scaling of any type of weapon to match better with your build. Like, you can make a Halberd or spear scale better with int so you do more damage with it if you were a mage. Same with faith.

Oh, I saw people talking about torches. While you do need a source of light in these new caves, you can get a hands free lantern in the far south, near the beach, of the Weeping Peninsula. There is a Nomadic Merchant there. Only like 1500 runes.

I have a back up save of that fight, but I wish I would have recorded it. When I beat Godrick I fucking rolled him. Like, he only had two tenths of his bar left when he went into fire mode. I fucked him up. Powerstancing Curved Greatswords paired with jumping attacks and bleed is like cheating.

To start with, I run up the stairs to the fog wall. Then I try to stay to his sides and back as much as possible. Aside from the wind+fire AoE, afaik the fire only shoots forward

If you have the Gatefront bonfire, just follow the guiding light north-ish. I just use the default. I turned off wall collision tho.

Question about performance for people on PC. Is my processer holding me back from reaching 60fps? I have an... "Intel Core i7 6700K @ 4.00GHz" GPU is an 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (EVGA) btw. The reason why I ask this is because I basically can't hit a stable 60fps pretty much ever. I notice that is seems like getting combat suddenly makes the game more stable, but it isn't perfect. I know my setup isn't exactly ideal, but I have tried every default profile and I seem to get exactly the same performance. It doesn't seem to matter if I have it on max or low. TBH, I feel like game seems more jittery if on low. Oh, and my monitor is 2k I've lowered it to 1080 to test and no difference. That's what is really odd to me. I was able to get cyberpunk to play nice with my machine. It was pretty stable. And I'm not even talkin about stuttering when it comes ER. The frames seem so variable that I can never notice the stuttering because I have never seen an stable frame rate.

So, the map is fucking huge. Like, literally 3x as big as I thought it was going to be. Like you see the foggy areas around Limgrave and prolly think that's just about it. Well, it isn't. Like, I got teleported via opening a chest(chests that release fog teleport you btw) and, if you don't mind some map spoilers, just look at this fucking shit. It is goddamn massive. This is literally BOTW size.

First spoiler is of what I have uncovered on the map second spoiler has very minor spoilers. Less that most trailers. But that's just me bitching. And remember, I'm only good at being negative. The game is pretty good overall, but negativity is far easier to express, especially when you're not even half way through.

Swapping the jump and confirm button causes me to skip over voice lines. I hate it. I hate A being jump and not Y but when you swap that in instantly skips the first voice line as well.
