  1. This has been news for a week or two now but there wasn’t anything released yet worth talking about. But now Riley has brought his excellent made for iOS multi system emulator Delta officially to the app store. It of course supports actual gamepads like xbox pads or backbone attachments. Though the nicely designed haptics means that if you are just playing a bit at the dentist it won’t be the worst time using those. Right now it’s just Nintendo systems but the alt store version supports some other systems and this says more to come, so expect to see t16, genesis, etc. Now we wait to see when Retroarch and Dolphin make it over! Delta Game Emulator Now Available From App Store on iPhone WWW.MACRUMORS.COM Game emulator apps have come and gone since Apple announced App Store support for them on April 5, but now popular game emulator Delta from developer...

  3. wow, Epic Games has added its own payments scheme to Fortnite on iOS. It bypasses Apple's IAP system and it's cheaper. Not sure how Epic is able to do this, but it's good news for Fortnite fans! https://t.co/wChrUiQeJs pic.twitter.com/FaQEzOICWM — Tom Warren (@tomwarren) August 13, 2020 Epic's Fornite has been removed from the App Store after they implemented direct payments, circumventing Apple's 30% cut. — Mark Gurman (@markgurman) August 13, 2020 Epic Games has filed legal papers in response to Apple, read more here: https://t.co/c4sgvxQUvb — Fortnite (@FortniteGame) August 13, 2020
  4. Sorry guys I don't get notifications for d1p anymore. I received my Rokid Max a couple days ago and I've been loving them. There are a couple small issues with them though: The nose guards suck. They make it so the alignment of the screen is a little off for most people and with the larger size FOV the bottom corners of the screen get cut off for most people. I just removed the nose guard completely though and I think they're still super comfortable. Other people are bending the nose guard so that it works without messing up the alignment: The other drawback is that they have a blue light filter enabled that cannot be turned off. I don't notice it at all but a few other people said they didn't like it. The developer mentioned there might be a firmware update soon to make it optional. Anyway, I had the nreal air before this and I've used it almost every single day since I bought it a few months ago so I bought this right away. I can already tell they're significantly better and I absolutely love them.
  5. Iconic Kim Kardashian: Hollywood mobile game shutting down after a decade WWW.POLYGON.COM Spend your K-Stars now I know this is a big "who cares" from a lot of you but this was kind of a daily distraction for me. I never paid any money to play the game and I only checked it out because there was such a big controversy of how much people were spending in the game. But it had a little interesting story mode, which went away after the past few years. You could tell this thing was winding down so I'm not too surprised it is shutting down. The fans of the game do appear to be saddened by the news, even some have started a petition to keep it going which will do nothing. What is interesting in recent years EA had actually bought this game and the mobile developer. Good luck to them in the future I suppose.
  6. Once again, Tim Epic has gone to court against a mobile platform holder -- the one whose CEO is not named Tim -- over the 30% cut paid to said platform holder for in-app purchases. In today's first day of testimony, the first witness called was Steve Allison, head of the Epic Games Store, who once again confirmed that EGS remains unprofitable. The Verge's live blog of the proceedings can be found here: Epic v. Google: a battle over Fortnite fees goes to court - The Verge WWW.THEVERGE.COM The antitrust trial has taken years to reach a courtroom.
  7. @Mercury33 introduced this game to a few of us a couple of weeks ago and we've been addicted ever since. It's crazy because I'm not into card battle games or mobile games but I can't put this fucker down. @ARZand @JPDunks4will back me up. Game is obnoxiously addicting. The gameplay is addicting enough but so is collecting the these fucking cards and their variants. Try this game if you dare but don't get mad at me if you get addicted.
  8. Have any of you played this game? I know most of you are gamerz with a capital Z so you immediately scoff at the idea of a mobile game but this might be one of the most depressing games ever made. The marketing surrounding this game makes it seem like a titillating lighthearted game, even the opening movie (above) seems innocent. You think you're just getting into a ol' fashioned game with girls that have their rear ends hanging out while they shoot some guns but the whole story of the game, the reason you're playing, is kind of unsettling. It was kind of telling in the half anniversary video they made the writer of the game remarked on how even he didn't want the game to keep going down the dark path that only seems to be getting darker. The idea of the game is that these girls are actually androids called Nikkes, that basically are there to serve / protect humans who have been driven underground by freaky robots called Raptures. A lot of a Nikke's life feels kind of worthless, they are discriminated against and considered subhuman by many people. Heck even a few minutes into the story you see what has to happen to them once they become corrupted by a rapture. In any case they have story events every so often and mostly about how humans suck too and the latest event was about how the Ark (the underground city) came to be and the trials and tribulations of the "Goddess Squad" and well unfortunately it deals with tragic loss and the mental toll it takes on one of the characters. Now, I am enjoying the game. It's a good looking game with great artwork, and the music is pretty good as well. But I just had to vent that the game does not conjure positive feelings. 🥹
  9. This will inevitably jump ship to other platforms, but is launching on Apple products first sometime this year (iPhones, iPads, Macs).
  10. Super cute, but I'm not sold it'll have the same appeal Pokemon Go has.

  13. I’ll begin this by saying that I appreciate that Nintendo (and affiliates) make a stupid amount of money from the physical game. It does seem though a basic game, limited cards and a stupid amount of items to pay for would be a match made in heaven. This has all come around in my head as I have started to get a bit obsessed with the idea of playing some kind of card game and also D&D (sparked by listening to Dungeons & Daddies).
  14. I know DOTA is more popular here but LoL is more my style and now it's on mobile with some adjustments (and only like half the cast and unfortunately all of my junglers are missing)! Perfect for my current bed ridden state I will be back with my simpleton low level weak ass non-DOTA playing impressions later (updating now).
  15. MTG Arena is on Android now it's slightly wonky on mobile (I think they need to increase card sizes for one) but its a full portable MTG experience!
