People in general either have very detailed folders where they organize everything or a desktop that is the digital equivalent of a million Hindenburgs. Anecdotally age makes absolutely no difference here. I will also say that over the last 5 - 10 years as things have moved to the cloud / Sharepoint / Google, it’s gotten much worse as a browser with more open tabs than there are stars in the night sky has become people’s de facto organization method.

Unless it's changed fairly recently, having literally any college degree is correlated with significantly higher lifetime earnings compared to people without a 4 year degree. That doesn't warrant taking out massive loans to obtain nor justifies the continual inflation of the cost of said degree of course, but in general getting any degree is better than not having one even if we're talking solely economics and none of the other benefits of a college education.

First: I assume you could use Automator to make a script for your terminal commands and keep it on your desktop, someplace handy, or named something unique so Spotlight could find it. if you know the Terminal commands I'd just google how to use Automator to do what you want and you should find it pretty easily Second: I don't think performance boost while plugged in is a thing on MacOS Third: I haven't used it, so no comment there Fourth: If you're just looking for something to keep it safe when you're tossing it in your bag, I usually roll with cheaper stuff on amazon that I don't feel bad abusing. I appreciate that Joker is not a bad movie but I just can't get over the notion that it's an inferior, edgelord version of The King of Comedy. The performances are good but I didn't think they were especially remarkable and how it ended up making a billion dollars is something I'll never understand.

FFVI is my favorite JRPG. I appreciate that it's not paced as well or has characters as interesting as Chrono Trigger, it's probably not as much of a leap forward for the genre or series as FFIV was, and its impact is a ripple next to FFVII's splash. But it came out at the right time in my life for me to go absolutely apeshit over it and the nostalgia is undefeated. I have a lot of early internet memories tied to it as well, it came out when the transition away from BBS to modern websites was in full swing and there was a lot of fansite bullshit out there on places like Geocities that had nonsense like how to get General Leo in your party that didn't work and required a shitload of effort. Obviously I'd play a remake, but I love the game as it is, warts and all, and I think it kind of stinks that in versions like the Pixel Remaster, the Sketch glitch is fixed. Is it better that your save can't get totally corrupted? Of course, but I like an inventory with 500+ Excaliburs for Shadow to throw like they're ninja stars and for everyone to dual wield Atma Weapons.

Making decent progress on painting my core set. Terrain is all done. B1s, Ventress, Rex, and Clones are done. Haven’t painted consistently in a while, so some of the stuff I usually struggle with doing as well as I’d like, such as faces and eyes, aren’t where I’d like them to be, but practicing on someone like Ventress who doesn’t have human skin helps with reps just thinning and glazing consistently. Trying to be “productive” during what I hope is a briefly tenured bout of unemployment; helps that I’ve spent a tremendous amount of money on this hobby and have a ton to paint without having to spend more.
