DarkStar189
"The rocky saga of Crucible, the free-to-play team-based shooter Amazon released in May 2020 and then unreleased in July 2020, is coming to an end. The developers announced today that they intend to shut down servers on November 9. The team will then transition to development on Amazon’s MMO, New World.".... https://kotaku.com/troubled-amazon-shooter-crucible-is-shutting-down-1845330651
Commissar SFLUFAN
Amazon's ventures into gaming have gone quite swimmingly, I see!
Keyser_Soze
I played it and didn't think it was that bad. But I guess others did.
JPDunks4
I saw some gameplay of it, it looked okay, but just so much competition in that space. New World I did play and loved what I did play so far. So hopefully that keeps getting better.

You got it backwards. Amazon bought Double Helix who worked on the base game and season 1 and then Iron Galaxy took over. So a sequel could still come but really it's up to Microsoft. Moa
I feel like these big tech companies like Google and Amazon that are now trying to break into gaming are too big to succeed. Any offering they make that isn't immediately met with success they will just throw away because they can afford to cut and run.
