From the very first trailer it appeared as thought the two main characters were going to annoy the hell out of me, and none of the reviews have convinced me otherwise.

I played through the first chapter,  I think. Its OK at best. The gunplay feels good, but the bosses are total bullet sponges. the graphics are really nice. However, it just doesnt feel like a wolfenstein game.

I recently played this and what a damned fine game it turned out to be. The hate is really weird although I suppose some of it was about the AI partner and laxk of checkpoints, but those were fixed in a patch.

 

Today I was suprised to see that the game was updated with free content: more endgame missions, enemies, abilities and areas!
