HardAct
CRAZY!!! That's nearly 7500MB/s really cool and crazy how prices have come down from just a year ago. The 4TB is 279.99 {was, it's now 299.99 w/heatsink for the 4TB} With a brand new full build coming in about one 18 months or so when ever the 5080/5090 is available that is {?} I'm glad i'll be able to save some money somewhere as i'm sure Nvidia isn't gonna help much in that category. A 2TB operating system drive and a 4TB gaming drive for $410 is pretty sweet sounding as these are the fastest drives out there that I'm aware of? Link below anyways. Though this is a great price on a very fast drive it's pretty much overkill for the PS5! Pretty sure it's compatible up to 4TBs? it's much faster than the PS5 is capable of utilizing. Still it's a great drive to pop in there as it comes with a heatsink and Sony recommends using one when upgrading your storage bay! AMAZON: It's $144 but has a &25 off coupon
Air_Delivery
This isn't really worth it over a 980 pro right?
Ominous
I got a 4 TB during Amazon's sale to replace my 970 EVO. Now I've got a 980 Pro 2 TB that is more or less for my OS and non gaming apps and 990 Pro 4 TB. Still waiting on gen5 to mature a bit. You wouldn’t notice a difference, but the 980 Pro 2tb is $130 right now, the 990 Pro 2tb no heatsink is $
stepee
I added a usbc external I can offload games too so I’ll wait for good prices on gen5 4tb
Dre801
If I hadn't already bought two 4TB WD Black SN850X's this year, I'd probably get one.
Spawn_of_Apathy
I bought the 2TB a few months ago for $194 after tax. Love it. Sadly most games don’t seem to use its full potential. Some have done tests and many games, like R&C Rift Apart show no additional gains over like gen 4 speeds.
