It’s a big JR station in Osaka where there’s a huge shopping center, including these stores. We just got off the train, went to the 13th floor and shopped, then went up a floor and had dinner. That’ll be quite the change of pace and tone. But it was one of the things I was gonna insist on doing this trip. Also, it’ll be nice to chill on the Shinkansen after all the walking the last 3 days. But this was probably the thing I wanted to do most on this trip. I had the emotions today. On a lighter note, I mailed my mom a post card. There’s these books you can buy and have them stamped at shrines and temples and it’s really cool. They do the writing in front of you. I’m filling mine up as I go.
