What are some bad break up stories?

I'm not sure if I have any salacious stories of selective seduction, but throughout my entire adult life, my ex girlfriend ended up marrying the next person after me. It hasn't happened yet with my most recent ex as far as I'm aware, but it happened every time before that.

 

It kind of makes you think that I'm the problem, doesn't it? Like after me they go "there's nowhere to go but up" and the next person puts a ring on it. Or maybe I was supposed to put a ring on it and never did, who knows.

 

I'm more thinking do you have stories of finding your partner balls-deep? Or maybe you found a ton of random sexy pics on their phone that weren't meant for you?

Only other relationship aside from my husband was a guy I dated for a year in high school. I'd known his as a younger kid, was great friends with his cousin and loved his aunt(who lived on the street behind me). We started dating during my junior year and I thought I was in love, yada yada, he was crazy about me, blah blah. He'd been in trouble with the law before and long story short, I found out he was on meth. I immediately dumped him. He didn't take it well. Stalked me for a while.

When he found out I was going to Winter formal with another guy(as friends) he went crazy and threatened to kill me. Principal was informed in case he showed up and he did. He was escorted out. But my dad suspected he hadn't left and sure enough, he walked outside and found him sitting in his car. My dad can be an intimidating man, he's big and burly, but I've never seen him violent. But he said that shit-eating grin on my ex's face just sent him into a rage. He opened the car door, shoved him to the passenger side and choked him out. His face was turning blue. Said something like "if you ever come near my daughter again, I'll fucking kill you."

We'd already filed a legal complaint by that time and went to court shortly after where I had to testify before a judge and was granted a restraining order. I met my husband around this time and things were better after that.

He spent most of his 20s in and out of prison, had a couple kids with two different women. I haven't spoken to him since he got out last in 2016, but from what I've heard he's turned it around. Married a much older woman who he had a kid with, but he's got an auto shop and cleaned up his act. I'm happy for him.

I had a woman pull the "classic" move of threatening to kill herself when I broke up with after finding out she cheated on me. I obviously knew she was being dramatic and was full of shit. When I didn't back down, she got pissed and threw a glass bottle at me that fortunately missed. Yeaaaaah, not very convincing for me to stay.

 

She ended up marrying an ex-boyfriend that had physically and emotionally abused her. I can't imagine that's a happy marriage.

I did "kinda" laugh at her throwing a bottle at you. Sorry and it's not funny and that's good you escaped that relationship.

In 2020 a month after dumping me one ex showed up banging at my door for an hour straight starting at 11 PM. It didn't stop until I messaged her saying I was going to call the cops if she didn't leave. I kept having to block her on different apps too. Like a year later she sent me a dollar on Venmo with a message that started with saying she didn't know how else to reach me, asking for life advice (lolno). 

 

In 2021 I went out with someone for a couple of months who I liked on the whole, but we hadn't had sex yet (was pulling a sort of @TUFKAK because she had the most absurdly enormous tits I've ever seen, and they were nice and shapely despite the size; we had also been fooling around but things got stuck short of even letting me finger her). When I went a few days without contacting her because I was torn on whether to break up with her she fucking called a police wellness check on me. Then she blew up my phone accusing me of selfishly only being interested in my own needs after I pulled the trigger on it as a result of the insanity of the police wellness check (she clearly had major sexual hangups that I was not interested in dealing with even in the medium turn).

Yeah, it’s been so long ago, I’ve forgiven him and we reconciled. He’s still a dumbass(dressed his kid as Trump for Halloween one year), but he’s off the drugs and seems stable. That’s good. His kids do need him.

If we'd actually been fucking there wouldn't have been a problem, at least not at the two month mark.  I was willing to try something different with going a little slower on actually having sex but two months in and still no sex is stupid.
