Fizzzzle
Do those monitors actually make a difference? Every time I see a new monitor with a gimmick I'm like "this is just to get me to pay $100 more for a monitor that didn't cost them anymore to produce." AbsolutSurgen
Ultrawide is much more immersive IMHO.

It's like when you see those 65" curved TVs and I'm like... there's no fucking way you are sitting close enough to that thing to make any difference at all. In fact, it would make the viewing experience worse. Maybe monitors that you're sitting 2 feet away from is different, though.

With Ultrawide, much of the monitor is in your peripheral vision, having it curved helps with that. The immersion really comes with filling up your field of view. I don’t think I would buy a curved TV, but I don’t think I would ever buy a 16:9 monitor again.

Keyser_Soze
She needs a booster seat for optimum viewing angle and proper hand alignment with keyboard. Also, missed opportunity to push the evolution to ESDF
