Moa
I can see a kid friendly Witcher universe fairy tale anthology show being good.
Mercury33
1 minute ago, Moa said: I can see a kid friendly Witcher universe fairy tale anthology show being good. Same. I mean you could do a show where a Witcher is defeating cool monsters from a fairy tell setting each week and be on par with He Man Revelations. That would be kid friendly and certainly wouldn’t suck.
legend
Well sure, it's easy to imagine making any kid-friendly fantasy story, but the more adult-themed grey-world of the Witcher is one of its defining elements. To remove that is to remove some of its soul.
Commissar SFLUFAN
I'm just amused at the prospect that a series whose first videogame iteration prominently featured "prostitute collectible cards" will now also have a "family-oriented" entry

Greatoneshere
I've still got to see the first animated film, but I'm down for more Witcher. A season 3 renewal is no surprise but it's good to get confirmed since that'll really get us into the main story of the books rather than the episodic short stories of the first two books. Mercury33
It’s a little surprising since Netflix is pretty notorious for not renewing series till after the most recent series has aired
Fizzzzle
The animated movie was... fine. I'm stoked on season 2, and if they're already renewing it for a third season, that's a good sign. I liked season 1, but it was also pretty uneven, and there were a lot of times where I thought "imagine what they could do with a bigger budget." Greatoneshere
My wife and I just watched the animated prequel film starring Vesemir - we enjoyed it! That beautiful, high-budget Studio Mir animation was awesome. Really helped set up a lot of backstory about witchers to help with season 2, which an older Vesemir will be in. Definitely something every Witcher fan should watch, I thought.
