    Hey my dogs had a close encounter with a raccoon a couple weeks ago and according to the health department and animal control the raccoon didn’t have rabies!

    Socially you may be obligated do visit your family on holidays. You’re not required to. Same thing here. If they’re not burning bridges by abusing or harassing or whatever to you it may be in your best long term interest to not be an asshole. Especially if you stay in your same industry, word may get around how you screwed over so and so by giving no notice.

    I hate to be one of those nerds but it’s cheaper and better for managing the grid to let the power company run them. E.g. you can manage the capacitors needed for the conversion of dc to ac power for industrial scale solar for energy storage at no additional hardware cost.

    I forgot just how much fun riding a bike is. I’ve finally been able to get one from a friend and the past couple days I’ve got out and rode around town. I’d visit the river but I’d be dreading the trip back due to the massive hills surrounding it downtown. now just need to seal the deal with the wife to sell our second car. I may have to buy her a bike first though…

    Depends but maybe. Mine is 10 years old and is still in great shape and I have no plans to get a new one anytime soon, but it was made from very high density foam that isn’t much on the market anymore as a competitor to Tempurpedic. If you’ve got an innerspring it may be time to get a new one. If there’s a noticeable body impression and/or you’re not getting restful sleep, it is definitely time.
