  1. Evangelical Leaders Announce J.K. Rowling Finally Bigoted Enough That It’s Okay For Kids To Read About Witchcraft WWW.THEONION.COM COLORADO SPRINGS, CO—Following a series of transphobic comments by the Harry Potter author, the nation’s top evangelical leaders announced Monday that J.K. Rowling had finally become...
  2. I'll give you a hint: these people DID angrily stand against seatbelts, and only started wearing them after years of law enforcement pulling them over. Seatbelts were required in all cars in 1968, and people were still refusing back in the mid-2000s. Also the same people that got angry when drinking and driving became outlawed and called it communism.
  3. Same, loved Galaxy Express 999. Still remember waiting until Midnight on the Sci-Fi channel to watch stuff like Galaxy Express 999, Van Helsing, and Green Legend Ran. The only way to watch anime on television at the time.
  4. Going to use a donkey? Old-school, but I like it!
  5. Goodbye Horses is an excellent song to do some plowing to!
  6. Assistance can be provided if you need it. If you bring your own plow make sure it's plenty lubed up as we don't want it getting jammed in the driveway with how dry and cold it can be.
  7. This is a very polite way of saying "taken out back and shot in the back of the head with a double gauged shotgun"
  8. I knew this was coming the second Elon Fusk initially tossed the idea out. Everyone else saw Twitter didn't immediately burn to the ground so they figure what's the harm in trying.
  9. JK herself is an anomaly, and even then has not been able to continuously sustain billionaire status.
  10. Wait till you find out this isn't even a revelation. Republicans on the state level have been pushing this for at least a year now. Over half the states in the Union are actively trying to take steps toward killing trans people. This is just big news because it's DeShitis instead of some flyover state. Over 200 bills specifically targeting trans people were introduced last year, I believe 20+ of which successfully passed. This year is already looking to eclipse last year as we're already at the 150 mark for anti-trans bills currently introduced at the state level across the country.
  11. Genuinely heartbreaking, I love Carter. My heart goes out to the family, this part in a loved one's life is no an easy one to go through for anyone, but I'm glad he can be at home surrounded by loved ones.
  12. @Bacondoesn't think genitals on real people need cleaning and maintenance .
  13. It's called a pilot program. Florida is the testing ground, and yes it goes a long way that it's Florida... But it's setting precedent and building blocks. Prior to 2016 you'd say 'he can't actually do any of that, he's just saying it because he's a reality TV star that knows it gets ratings' before 4 disastrous years of 'I didn't know he could just do that'.
  14. I think it's because he has the same 'I'll just pass whatever want, and what are you going to do about it' attitude, but unlike the orange cheeto fart has the skill to properly make his shit policies stick. 45 proved you can at least temporarily push any policy you want, DeShitis is showing that with a bit of political grace you can do more than make it temporarily stick.
