  1. Dude, your fantasy of turning Texas Blue is just that, a fantasy. You ask this over and over, and people’s response doesn’t change. Texas IS a red state.
  2. Im positive you haven’t beaten all of your games and I don’t even know what you own. You definitely have a backlog. I doubt ill get in on it this year. I’m playing BG3 on my laptop. I leave Sunday for a week of bass fishing with a tournament next weekend, so I might fire up the laptop for an hour or so all week, maybe. By the time I get back, we’ll be near the end of the month, and sea of stars will be out. Good on you for keeping it going though.who knows though, maybe I’ll sneak FFIV Pixel Remaster in. I’ve beaten the og many times, but never, ever the remaster.
  3. Exactly. This is well beyond anything Bethesda has shown themselves capable of. But I’m also not a fan of their more modern stuff. I loved Morrowind, and greatly enjoyed Fallout 3, Oblivion was worth a play through, the other fallout games aren’t great, especially 4. I finished the story in Skyrim, I thought it was awful until it had a full suite of mods to make it playable. Their MMO stuff sucks, I want nothing to do with it. I’m hoping they surprise me, but not counting on it.
  4. Im actually surprised how few companions there were. And one is no longer with me, and I relied on them for a lot. still though, the game is so deep I don’t care. my dragonborn is dragonboning shadowheart, and Im slowly destroying the evil in the great city, working my way to the end goal, my brain a parasitic mess as I destroy ever more powerful beings of the sword coast. I can’t be mad, it might be my GotY so far, and I LOVE Zelda.
  5. The reports were based on him arguing with the showrunner about their deviation from the plot, she apparently got mad he went over her head during filming of S2. In the end it seemed more like a showrunner mad that they had less power than the star. i just watched the final episodes, and yeah, end this shit. Cavill was probably correct to be fed up and ultimately leave. I’ll never understand why showrunners feel the need to take a property fans love and put their grubby fingerprints all over it. Wheel of Time is another one massacred by a showrunner who supposedly loves it.
  6. I just hit level 9, and im really starting to feel powerful. Especially throwing lvl 5 fireballs with Gale. and Astarian is so useful in cities. I steel so much with him!
  7. Also, I named my character Astarian. 30 minutes after I started, I met another Astarian who joined my party. Pissed me off a little.
  8. Yhave you gotten to the underdark? There’s plenty more down there before you move on to act 2. I reached Act 3 last night. BG is possibly the biggest city I’ve seen in a game. My girl Shadowheart is officially my girl. I slaughtered a clown in front of a crowd of onlookers, polymororph’d my way into a places I wasn’t allowed. Good times all around. My favourite thing about this game is that the choices are so abundant. I failed quests I wanted to finish in the underdark because I suddenly couldn’t backtrack about half way through act 2 though. Kinda wish I’d known that, but even that leads to new quests you wouldn’t get otherwise. This game is so intricately crafted, it really stands out in a year of gaming that has really stood out itself. And it’s not done yet! Sea of Stars, Starfield, Spiderman, and im sure im forgetting more. Also, isnt there a suikoden remaster coming this year? Im kind of surprised this is a first for so many. CRPG’s are one of my favorite genres. My friends and I played so much of the original BG in the late 90’s. I only beat BG2 once I believe. Divinity 1&2 are some of my favourite games. I really need to replay the original BG sometime soon.
  9. I would really love to see them do something in either Dark Sun (unlikely, as WotC seems to want nothing to do with their best setting), or Birthright. For me that would be great. If not those, Dragonlance could be fun if it was during the war of the lance. Raistlin, Caramon, Tasslehoff, Sturm, Goldmoon, Flint, Tika, so many characters that would make great NPC’s. Fistdandantilus!
  10. Damn this game is good. Im near the end of act 2, just cleaning up tasks, and trying to complete Shadowhearts judiciarquest so me and her can DO IT!!!
  11. I mean, while leprosy is an awful disease, the MDT they use for it takes care of it. You’ll be fine. And it’s not like it’s widespread.
  12. I mean, there has to be an acknowledgement that while most people would appreciate better public transport, there is absolutely no will in America to move away from a car centric approach. Most people in this thread may as well be screaming at clouds. It’s just not a political win in America. People like the independence car’s give them. like I said, all of North America needs better public transit, but it can’t come at the expense of our roads either. If tunnels help ease congestion in any way, then we should definitely add more.
  13. Oh, I know you see it. In fact I greatly respect how you acknowledge your own hypocrisies and are adamant you don’t care. That is not the usual case with most here. that’s very different from the average “leftist” strategy
  14. Or it’s just a coincidence, and the left likes ridiculous conspiracies as much as the right. for all the left’s reporting about how crazy he is, when you actually listen to him and not news reports, he’s not that crazy at all. He’s done multiple long form podcasts talking about his views. No other candidate is doing that, and of course shit rags like NYT and the establishment takes most of his opinions out of context and spreads nonsense like that in this thread, claiming he’s a nazi (because that’s the lefts only attack now, if you don’t agree with us, you’re a nazi). its s perfect encapsulation of why thy Biden is in a dead heat with Trump, because while many centrists won’t ever vote for Trump, they can be pushed towards a 3rd party with a more centrist candidate who at least aligns with their economic and world views. It goes back to the Critical Drinker discussion in the movie forum. This forum is so far left, they can’t see that they are a congregated minority who doesn’t represent most of America. The apathy towards Biden is at an all time high. A candidate like Tulsi or RFK could actually unite the center against the far right. I don’t believe Biden can, and I fully expect Trump to win in 2024 as these indictments, even though they are deserved, have seemed to increase his support. Biden effectively won by 40k votes. Republicans will absolutely turn out for Trump, but will apathetic voters turn out for Biden again? He certainly isn’t getting 80+ million votes this time around. While I will say I personally find the GOP to be an unacceptable party as it stands, that doesn’t mean I would automatically support democrats who really don’t align with my views either. Millions of others feel the same, and polls and groups that are stumping for democrats are finding this as well, especially with black male voters. I saw a report on this recently. “You have to vote for us because Trump” just isn’t going to work this time. People will vote 3rd party or not at all because democrats are always telling them how unacceptable everything is while doing very little to improve their lives. Almost nobody is better off since Biden’s election. People vote based on their personal circumstances, not based on a theoretical bogeyman who will “end democracy”, culture war issues, or infrastructure bills that don’t help their standard of living. Maybe if they actually publicly fought for raising minimum wage, Medicare for all, had not forced railroad unions back to work without sick days, and not refused primary debates (while accusing the right of being undemocratic), they wouldn’t be in this situation. but hey, keep attacking would be centrist democratic voters from the left and pushing them away while telling them how good they have it, and that they are just ungrateful. That’s sure to expand the democratic base.
  15. Yeah, im not pretending I understand or know anything about this, just adding the article to the pile since Toms Hardware is usually pretty reliable in their reporting and analysis.
  16. Imo, this has consistently been one of the best shows every year since it started. I wish my grandfather was around to watch it. He loved the first season when we watched it together. He brought me up on martial arts movies.
