I've played more and I definitely think it's the best actual BR, but I'm definitely in the boat where I don't see the absolute beauty in BR or agree that they're all so different. They are pretty much the same outside of little gimmick additions, and differences in overall gunplay...but running and looting in this feels the same as any BR out there. My issue with the genre is there are way to many moments where nothing is going on and itll lead to an instant death or a few good battles, but ultimately the matches will most likely result in overall losses. I've had a few matches now where it was down to my squad and one other, and even with a victory i don't think it'd be that thrilling to win. I won I think 1 or 2 in fortnite and I was just like "okay...." But Now that I'm gettin more used to it, it's definitely a BR I can actually stomach... But man give me a classic shooter any day of the week.

General Gaming OpenCritic now flags Loot Box Mechanics

I think anything that might help deter devs even a little with loot boxes is a good thing -
Played about 10 or so matches and I'm sure for those are awesome it's a great genre, I can get some kills but overall this genre of game is totally not my bag. I don't like the frantic nature of nature BR all to unfold in most of the time a few second battles where I get ganked. Just not for me at all, makes me want to play a real shooter tbh. No building shit is a nice touch but outside of that I ultimately dislike the genre

Biggest issue I have is the way my projector screen is I basically lose a whole wall.. So my stand is about 3 feet off the floor with 3 levels, I couldn't even fit all those old consoles there lol when I get my basement finished tho I wouldn't mind making a classic gaming area. But right now I couldn't even set that up without it giving me anxiety being so cluttered -

Yea, having 5 systems dedicated to one brand is a lot of shelf clutter imho... Having all those playable games in one easy console I think would really make for a great sell point in itself.. If definitely day 1 if they do nail the bc aspect. -

I think it's simply an option that doesn't hurt to be there at all times, no reason to not have it imho. Unless we have some numbers it's hard to say how many use it, but I do think people definitely appreciate having it. I don't think I'm a big time bc guy but there are times I get an itch to go back to a game and having the option to easily throw it in to one system is super convenient. Although I can do it all on Pc as well so it is what it is but I'd definitely be a fan of ps5 having bc for all past generations. -
General Gaming Update: RIP in Peace, Anthem
The Dude replied to skillzdadirecta's topic in The Spawn Point
For anthems sake I hope so and for biowares, but bah gawd who decides to put an older demo like the out instead of your best build? -
I just wish I could get that loving feeling with bf5, when I fire bf1 man I just can't stop lol everything feels so polished although I wouldn't mind the bf5 ttk in bf1 to be honest. I just hope their visibility fixes change how bf5 feels. Don't get me wrong tho I like battlefield 5 in spurts, it's just not quite there like 1 was

Caught this the other day and it really hit home to see how truly bad it is for Star Wars and gaming. It felt like all those games were spread over many more years but seeing it in a little capture like this is so eye opening. And the thing about it all is that these games were great games for the most part. Kotor, Battlefronts, Jedi Academy alone were such fun titles. It's not like in a 4 year stretch we got a bunch of shit, they were quality star wars titles thru and thru. It's just hard to believe how in some ways gaming has taken so many steps back in this type of area of licensing etc... I really despise it and it makes you appreciate even further the older years of gaming and what we were getting. Star wars in general is in such the shitter thanks to Disney, but if they could only do one thing right it'd be relinquishing the rights from that pos EA, that would make for such a grand day. I don't know how a company that can be such absolute fuck ups like EA can Stick around as long as they have.

Well what I got from Comcast is the XB6, which is a router modem combo. Doing speed tests via speakeasy and Comcast I hit 940ish download and 40 or so upload. The issue tho is that this Xb6 only has 2 ports which I like my consoles hard wired. My friend feels my note 9 should be able to get off wifi close to 900 but Im not sure, that's why I was debating to try a new router as my note 9 is getting 400 to 450. I'm just not 100% sure if I should at least just get a better router like the Nighthawk x45 3.1 docsis 3.1 32x8, and then I'd definitely have better range... Or if I should wait. But I actually do kinda need another router because as is my PS4 and Pc are wired but my xone would be wifi and I want to hard wire it. I'm just not sure which routers are best currently for the 1000 mbps setups.

Going to blend in another topic tho while you guys were here... So I upgraded to 1000 mbps with Comcast and I have the ifninty Xb6 modem. Now can this actually push the full 1000 mbps do you guys know? I haven't done much in the network game for awhile so alot is new to me. But I'm thinking I need probably a better overall router, but I'm not sure. If you guys have some insight on it that'd be awesome

I had taken a break earlier but anyways I finally fixed it and thank God... As navigating around with just kb and mouse was getting old fast. Anyways somehow I was reverted back to 1803 update which I'm not sure was my actual problem, but upgrading to 1809 fixed everything. The issue earlier was I just didn't notice that and searching for windows updates didn't mention 1809 update, I had to manually go start it. In any case thanks for the replies fellas, much appreciated!
