I've been tempted by an Ioniq 5, myself. My Prius is old AF (2007) with a ton of miles (288k). I love the look of the Ioniq and love its fast charging, and Hyundai dealers are offering $7,500 off of the MSRP to make up for it not being eligible for the tax credit.

FWIW, I've also got a couple hundred books that are on shelves, and I'm totally counting those as decoration.  

I recently was told that my cholesterol was a bit high, though not to the point of needing medication. Looking into it a bit more, I learned that one factor contributing towards high cholesterol can often be full-fat dairy, such as the half and half I was putting in my daily coffee or the whole milk I was using on cereal.  So I switched to oat milk and I found that I quite like it. In particular, the Kirkland Signature oat milk from Costco is pretty good, IMO.

Anyway... what alternatives do you all like, if any?

I also never used to do much more than put a silly poster or two on the wall (e.g. in college), but in the last few years I've started to put more thought into it. Like you, I noticed that it does make a difference in how I feel, making a space my own, etc.

FWIW, Ezra Klein is generally not worth paying any attention to, in my opinion. 

It looks like Best Buy is having a bit of a sale on 4K Blu-rays for President's Day, if anyone is interested, though it looks like a lot of items are already sold out.

This is disappointing to see, if for no other reason than healthy competition is good for consumers. Though, those are some early numbers, and Intel is kinda notoriously bad with drivers early on in the life-cycle of their graphics products. Hopefully there will be some improvements shortly...

I bought many games within a few days or weeks of their release for the Gameboy Color, but the first game I can be absolutely certain that I bought on the first day was Grand Theft Auto III for PC. The t-shirt I got for preordering was one of my favorites for a long time.

I think I could hear something in that video, but it's a little hard to say; I'm not sure if the mic is picking it up properly. I definitely believe you that it's more annoying in person though; that would drive me crazy.

Also, am I seeing correctly that you're also (still?) rocking some Klipsch ProMedia speakers? I've still got my 4.1s from like 2003.  

Another article about this that someone posted on reddit (I'll see if I can find it) mentioned that in addition to the lying, there were fake documents planted. Which is a much bigger deal, since it shows a much more deliberate and longer-duration plan, likely with multiple people involved.

its not terrible bc the gpu faces away from me and I noticed it when trying mess with fan curves (which also lead me to realize i had my aio pump header hooked up to the cpu fan, so it was running off a curve. lol). so I had all sound off while doing this and thats when I noticed it. 

 

I guess this is pretty normal from what im reading. and being that the gpu is litterally 2mm from the mesh panel, thats why I even hear it. 

 

I guess its luck of the draw if you get lucky and get a card without it so I guess ill deal with it. 

 

the. good news is moving the aio pump to the aio header so its running at 100% brought my cpu temps down 7-10 degrees. so my 3D mark score jumped almost 600 points. 

 

one thing that is annoying the F outta me is I cant get the msi afterburner overlay to work. it just wont come up. tried several games across a few launchers. I disabled nvidia overlay too. 

Better go liquid cooling just to be safe.

Yeah, to repeat what I meant in the OP: I have zero regrets about my own "lack of action" here. Besides the lawsuits, there are also potential safety concerns (both for me and my dog), and I have no idea what the guy allegedly did. Given the general lack of law enforcement in Portland these days (as @Fizzzzle can probably attest), I'd guess it would have to be something somewhat serious to actually get a cop to chase him down, but who knows.
