From what I remember she was hospitalized and never got out when they diagnosed her. It happened in the late 90s when I was in high school.

Congrats Triage! The only two people I've personally known who slipped into a coma was my dad at the end of his battle with brain cancer and Aunt who had Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease that put her in a coma before she passed away. She only lasted a few weeks after they diagnosed her.

What happened with Kelly Marie Tran shouldn't have happened either just because some people didn't like her character.

The one I hated was someone holding a sign saying almost finished.... at the halfway mark and I really wanted to quit! It was the finish line for the half marathon but I was doing the full marathon! I did the San Francisco Marathon probably 8 years ago. My friends do the tough Mudders, full marathons, half marathons, triathlon, Reno Tahoe Odyssey and a few other events. She even did a half marathon 7 months pregnant!
