  1. DC Comics: The Green Lantern #2 Image Comics: The Wicked + The Divine #40 Unnatural #5 Marvel Comics: The Immortal Hulk #10 Uncanny X-Men #4 Small week. Uncanny X-Men has kicked off pretty solid and the Green Lantern had a good first issue. I can see Grant Morrison is going to be up to his usual crazy highjinks here.
  2. Awesome, Chef! Collect the book, love the book. Will give this a listen.
  3. What I find funny is, after 75 hours put into Odyssey, finding out about all the "problems" this game has. Lol. Like every game ever made, it isn't perfect. It doesn't have any issues worth mentioning to be honest and it's easily one of the best AC games made and is a definite step up and evolution from Origins. Like was mentioned above, with such a large game, there's going to be a bit of jank. This game might as well be perfection compared to a Bethesda game, though. EDIT : I think either way, the game gets better as it goes along.
  4. Abstract Studio: Strangers in Paradise XXV#8 DC Comics: Scarlet #4 Marvel Comics: Daredevil #612 Fantastic Four #4 Return of Wolverine #3 Uncanny X-Men #3 Valiant: X-O Manowar #21
  5. God of War, RDR2 and Spider-Man are my 1, 2, 3. AC comes in right after, but all are excellent.
  6. I like your list, @skillzdadirecta and I'll add Division 2 coming in March.
  7. Past tense, but what the heck. Image Comics: Oblivion Song #9 Marvel Comics: Avengers #10 Captain America #5 Daredevil #611 Domino #8 Exiles #10 Fantastic Four #3 Star Wars: Doctor Aphra #26 Thor #7 Uncanny X-Men #1 Will probably pick up with weekend if weather doesn't suck.
  8. I have been embarrassingly lax in my posting in these threads. I have been equally inept in my reading as well. It's these damn huge games. Appreciate the effort @JVC920 DC Comics: Pearl #4 Marvel Comics: Astonishing X-Men #17 Mr. & Mrs. X #5 Star Wars #57 The Immortal Hulk #9 Tony Stark: Iron Man#6
  9. And it's ok that you're an idiot. I made no comment about it winning some award or another, but sorry, it's not garbage. Fact.
  10. What the fuck ever. I see a lot of David Cage hate and not much more. Detroit was very good, as was Beyond: Two Souls.
  11. So. I just got to chapter 5 last night, so I'm a fair bit along. From my point of view, just like with every fucking game in existence, this game isn't perfect. Nonetheless, it is pretty fucking amazing, as it's arguably the finest open world game made to date. Now as to the copious amounts of complaints in this thread with all of the "problems" with this game, I almost want to say "get guud". Firstly, if something isn't working in the game as designed, as in something not activating, then that's different and that definitely sucks. I personally haven't encountered very many of these situations at all. A few, but nothing major. As to the control, I just don't see what everyone's bitching about. I was awkward as fuck when I first started playing this and got better the more I played it. Simple. Problem with not having the weapons that you like in your loadout? Check them before you leave your horse. It's not exactly a hard exercise to remember. Does it take a second to open drawers and shut them? Sure, but really, who cares? It would be nice to just tap the button, but that's life. In all my time with this game so far, it has been immensely enjoyable, immersive and yes, it has that Rockstar flavor that you can certainly recognize from previous games. It's obviously not going to be for everyone, but to say that it isn't fun or it sucks? Well, that just sounds stupid. To each his/her own I guess, but I think there's a whole lot of exaggeration going on up in here.
  12. AC was a great idea that just didn't see the execution. Lots of repetition. ACII was a massive improvement in everyone way over the first game.
  13. This list isn't crazy. Odyssey is arguably the best AC yet. I too love the RPG conversion of this series. I've put in around 70 hours so far in Odyssey and I'm not the least bit tired or burned out on it. I also have a soft spot for Syndicate as I really liked the twins, especially Evie. I would also say that Unity is very good. It was a fucking technical disaster, but if you play it now with everything ironed out, it's probably one of the more technically impressive AC games at that time. Too bad they fucked the launch.
  14. Did anyone scope that they got the original voice actor for Marston to come back? If that's true, holy fuck!
