  1. And.... Played all the beta has to offer with the exception of the PVP, which I don't care too much about. Loved it all so far and it was surprisingly bug free for the most part. The cool shit is that you can mod all of your gear this go around, which is awesome. Tonnes of build potential here and I love it!
  2. If you use cover, the regular dudes shouldn't be too bad. It's the bosses that are a bit of a handful when you're low level.
  3. I kind of viewed this one as more interesting than fun. It didn't have the best lead character performance and a few mechanics didn't quite work, but I enjoyed it enough. It's certainly not a piece of shit or broken or anything. It's definitely down on the list for favorite AC games, though.
  4. I'll let other people crunch the numbers. There wasn't a single moment in the demo that had me saying "holy fuck, this is going to be a problem". I played on my peasant PS4 and had a great time.
  5. Played the demo this afternoon for several hours without a hitch. Played as a Storm which felt fucking great. Didn't notice any sizable framerate drop playing on peasant PS4.
  6. I've never heard a group of people that seem like they're exhausted as fuck playing video games for a living. And in turn, they're exhausting to listen to. In this particular case, they're clueless.
  7. Agree. I've played enough to know that I like it quite a bit. Might play one more time. Can't wait for release. Also, I played on a peasant PS4 and it ran just fine.
  8. Played for several hours this afternoon. Got the infinite load a handful of times. If you shut down the game and go back in, it should tell you that you already have an expedition started and if you'd like to rejoin. Do that and it should work. I repeated that several times and it worked every time. As for my time with it, I really enjoyed it. I think it'll be a great game, a lot of fun and it has a tonne of potential.
  9. I don't think there was anything wrong with their approach or desire to do a shared universe. I also don't think they were necessarily trying to emulate Marvel just because they did it first, but they definitely wanted those dollars. Therein lies the problem. They were greedy fucks and wanted what Marvel built over a decade in what, like a third of the time. They butchered the last half of Green Lantern. All of Snider's films had serious problems of one sort or another. They rushed the shit out of everything and fucked it all up because they couldn't just take the fantastic characters they had and make great movies and let everything else fall into place. I was really hoping with Geoff Johns involved that he could be like their Kevin Feige. That obviously didn't pan out. They're going to concentrate on solo movies, not because of a conscious choice, but because they were forced to. I'm happy Wonder Woman was so good and Aquaman has done well and I have high hopes for Shazam. They also don't have to keep going back to the trinity of Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman constantly either, although I'm mainly talking about the first two.
  10. Nothing to be offended about really. I mean, it's a commercial and I'm not an asshole. I wasn't seeing them exactly spreading untruths there. Maybe people are upset that a commercial is where they're sending that message?
  11. AC Odyssey with a bit of Destiny on the weekend while I patiently wait for Anthem.
  12. Have this bad boy preordered and I'm ready. This is looking very good.
  13. The only one I saw was Death Wish. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
  14. Trailer was awesome and the pics look great! Lovedthe last two MK's and this one should be no exception. Also very excited to see the extensive customization options that we saw in Injustice 2 carried over and / or improved upon for MK 11.
  15. That's a tough decision, @JVC920. Amazingly enough, like yourself and @skillzdadirecta, those same thoughts have been going through my mind as well recently. With me, a large portion of my entertainment time has been playing all of the big games and as a result I've been doing a lot of buying and not a lot of reading. I think I had read only two books in the last couple months. Like yourself, I've been collecting since around 1985. That's a long time doing something that I've really loved over the years. I was wondering why my desire to read was so lacking and have contemplated that maybe it was time to bring this collecting journey to an end. I've certainly cut back on my titles as I used to be at almost 80 and now I'm under 40 and of those, several aren't out every month. What's kept me from making the decision to stop was me finally knuckling down a couple weeks ago and reading. I got through 30 books! While a decision similar to yours may come for me in the next year, I'm not pulling the trigger just yet. I respect your decision though.
