It's too late, just like @Commissar SFLUFAN's favorite Dark Tranquillity album, damage done. Even today still nearly 40% reviews are negative. I like how DD2 tells you up front about the passage of time and that some missions can be messed up if you don't do them in time. In the first game I'm pretty sure there was only one or two missions like that and it doesn't tell you other than "You need to finish this in 2 days" and I was like holy shit I better get going!
