  1. I ain't saying where you weirdo. But I'm happy for you. If you post this in the kindness thread, I shall be very pleased with your vacation.
  2. Parents of Otto Warmbier speak out after President Trump's comments on Kim Jong Un and responsibility for Warmbier's death: "Kim and his evil regime are responsible for the death of our son Otto ... No excuses or lavish praise can change that."
  3. Also, with Inslee running on climate change, I thought this was interesting: @Massdriver You might be interested to know that Inslee supports a carbon tax.
  4. I've beaten it three times, twice with DLC, just because I loved the gameplay, world and lore. But it helps that it's, like, 1/4 the length of The Witcher 3. You can plat the game in 60 hours.
  5. Some of y'all didn't read anything past the list of games. OP: Looks like you got the PSVR bundle. Astro Bot is the superior game, especially in the fun factor, but Moss is a really nice puzzle-adventure game. It's not complicated, you can play it more relaxed, it's got a really lovely look to it, and it'll run you around 4 - 5 hours. So going from Astro Bot to Moss won't feel like a letdown; you should enjoy it. With Horizon Zero Dawn, the more I played it, the more I loved it. It opens a bit slower because you're still overall in a smaller area when you finally get into the open world, but then the entire eastern part of the map opens, followed by the western side. There's a ton of stuff in the game that's very fun to do, especially the cauldrons. And once you learn how to control the robots, assembling your own little gang during a battle is aces. Doom is a lot of fun; I can't see why you wouldn't like it coming back to it. REmake is good. If you liked RE2make, you'll like this one, though RE2make is totally the better on. It was made around its controls, whereas the modern controls in REmake can make zombies really easy to run away from (but I can't play it with tank controls, damn it).
  6. Also, unless it experienced a surge later, HZD surpassed Uncharted freaking 4. While the reviews and push for the game were big, "Killzone creator" making a game that surpassed a well-established franchise and said franchise's first game of the new generation is pretty fucking impressive.
  7. Wonderful game and wonderful first attempt by Guerrilla. New IP sells boatloads, and the sequel has the potential to be so, so great.
  8. Digital Foundry: Visuals: - Base PS4 presents more smoothly than the demo. - PS4 Pro: 1080p mode and 4K mode still present. 30 FPS cap enforced on all versions (including base). No more unlocked frame rate. - HDR support has been restored. - Dynamic res confirmed across all consoles. (including base PS4) - Can vary from 80% to full buffer (whether it's 1080p on base PS4 or 4K on mid-gens). PS4 Pro likely relying on checker board rendering. - CB rendering commended as 'outstanding' with CB evidence only visible upon zooming in. - Texture quality is a match, however in some instance X shows higher quality art. - In some select scenes, Pro has reduced shadows compared to X, but mostly they're same. Performance: - Frame rate gap between 4K modes on Pro and X is much closer but Pro is still a touch smoother than X - Pro 4K mode vs Base PS4: Performance is very similar, 30 FPS target but neither is 100% locked with small dips. - Standard PS4 more heavily impacted from streaming issues. - Big explosive effects can cause bigger dips on Pro compared to Base. - Pro's 1080p mode is effectively locked through out. Performance dips from 4K mode are gone. - Entering new areas can cause streaming related hitches even at 1080p, but much less so than other PS4 modes. - Pro @ 1080p "only console model where I (Rich) wasn't bothered by hiccups" - "It's the best way to play Anthem on consoles, but not visually the most pleasing" Ranking: - Base Xbox continues to be the worst performing version. Base PS4 is third. - X and Pro are trade offs, X has visual advantage but Pro has smoother performance (in 4K mode). - Pro's 1080p mode is Rich's favorite way to play the game on consoles.

  10. I haven't played That's You but heard it's a really good party game. It's just a matter of getting everyone together. Knowledge Is Power is one I've not heard very good things about. Pity nobody else would give them work, but at least they were able to for a short time from one of the Big Three.
