    Also, I’d submit that in hindsight Nolan’s films weren’t really ‘dark’, it just seemed that way given the juxtaposition with the Burton and Schumacher films. This looks *dark*, dark.

    I’ve read the book and can confirm that it is going to be good...Pollock’s writing can be a bit much at time, but imagine ‘post-modern Southern gothic set in rural Ohio’ and you get the gist of it. The trailer doesn’t even begin to show how incredibly fucked up it’s going to be!
