    While we're on the subject of hotel pillows, I need to rant a bit about how the "pillows" at the APA Hotel chain in Japan are just the absolute worst. Now, in Japan you can generally expect firm beds and firm pillows, that's pretty normal, but these things barely even can be considered pillows at all. They're more like they stripped the block of foam out of a couch cushion and stuck it in a cheap pillowcase. And not even a whole couch cushion, these things are only like an inch to an inch and a half thick. The beds themselves are fine, but these pillows are an affront to all things good in the world. Oh, and owner of the hotel chain is a weird racist/nationalist nutjob.

    Has any mainstream Dem politician ever actually advocated taking people's guns away? Common sense gun laws != seizing people's guns.

    I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Can't really judge turnout since this is only my second election. Parking lot felt a bit more crowded.

    If I was a Dem politician I'd put forward a bill, lets call it the "Well Regulated Militia Act" that requires all these so-call "militias" to register their names and their members and require that all members have not been convicted of a violent crime or hate crime, make sure they've undergone a firearms safety test, and all those who fail to register are treated as a gang by federal law enforcement.

    Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I don't buy it. If it was "pulled at the last minute" they could have easily seen how the Immortal announcement was crashing and burning and shuffled someone out and said "But of course we're also working on Diablo 4, yadda yadda yadda." I don't think they had any intention of announcing a Diablo 4 and instead had spent too much time drinking their own Kool-Aid thinking they could announce anything and get people excited.

    I live a short hop over the boarder to the south in Illinois from where they're planning on building the plant and my town and a bunch of others have written complaints that the Foxconn plant will exacerbate flooding issues downstream of the Des Plaines River. Not that anyone in Wisconsin cares or will do anything about it.

    Calling it "fine print" is quite a stretch. There's three sentences of text and it is literally the sentence right about the part where to pick you dollar amount.

    Has KSA made a statement yet denying any of this? I seem to recall Russia being quick to deny some of those poisonings. I'm just trying to figure out what insane excuse they would have for how this guy died.

    I find this somewhat ironic when Turkey was trying to work with Mike Flynn to abduct that Gulen guy. to them all I suppose.

    I think this idea of measuring "energy" or "enthusiasm" is stupid. There's no real way to measure it and it'll ebb and flow wildly with every news story or political event.

    Looks cool. I'd be worried it would push back into proper multiplayer Gwent, which would be a scary thing. That was kind of a dark time for gaming for me.

    But still, people can't be compelled to give testimony or answer any questions without a Grand Jury subpoena so if the person doesn't want to volunteer information they can tell FBI agents to pound sand.

    I dunno, I imagine most of the people the FBI would want to talk to are pretty affluent, if they want to disappear for a week I'd imagine it'd be easy for them.
