It’s legit bad, unfortunately. But if you like Gilliam you should still watch it.

I already bought the movie on Blu-ray but haven't watched it yet. I'm generally a fan of pretty much everyone involved but yeah the reviews aren't too great.

Most of his films are good, some are great, but he has some duds, namely: Jabberwocky, The Brothers Grimm, Tideland, and The Zero Theorem. Given his output, that's a great batting average, but you'll notice he's only made one good movie since 1998 (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus), it's been 21 years now since Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
