Nokra
I think I know the answer to this but... I was just poking around in some Steam community pages and I found the Bad Cartridge/D1P group (anyone not in it already should join!) and I noticed that its description mentions the TF2 server. Unfortunately, I can't even remember the last time I played on it (maybe 2015 ? ) and when I tried to connect to the IP given in the Steam group from within TF2, it said it couldn't find anything. It's gone, right @Commissar SFLUFAN ? Would people still potentially be interested in a TF2 night some weekend, for old time's sake?
Keyser_Soze
From my understanding Wade is still paying for it. At least it was the last time I asked him about it.
dualhunter
Gametracker says it's alive. It's been on koth_sawmill for years. https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/208.167.246.17:27015

If so, that's why it didn't work, it's missing a . between 246 and 17, so if you just copied and pasted, it won't work. How does the vs machine mode work? Normally we'd need 6-8 people to have a good chance of attracting others to join. With fewer players, it'd be better to join a populated server.

Ah yes, I bet that's it; I did indeed just copy and paste. Thanks! Mann vs. Machine is a pretty fun mode; basically you and some friends fight against waves of bots that are pretty dumb but they overwhelm with numbers. You're right, we might have more luck getting a game of that mode going than a full 12 v. 12. I'll try to get something organized in the next days! Brick
I haven't played in so long, and would love to play again with some of the old crew. I actually never played Mann vs. Machine.
TheLeon
I reinstalled TF2, which Steam says I haven’t played since 2016. My anus is wholly unprepared.
