The Justice Department told Texas Thursday that it intends to file legal action against the placement of floating barriers in the Rio Grande as part of the state’s operation along the Texas-Mexico border, according to sources familiar and a letter obtained by CNN.

 

The DOJ is going to sue Abbott, not launch an investigation on him.

Look, I get them I’m fully stupid but every picture of these things shows them in waist deep water at best.  How does this stop anyone at all?  Maybe the most unprepared people with nothing available, but it seems like a decently thick blanket and you’re getting over that thing no problem.
