From a Reset user: Quote For clarity, it reads "* Includes E3 cancellations for 2024 & 2025". E3 2024 and E3 2025 were slated for June 11 and June 3 respective years, as previously reported. But both shows have now been cancelled.
Best
What the hell is E3?
crispy4000
It sounded like Summer Games Fest was the sort of event journalists always wanted. There's just not much room for bigger publishers before it balloons into something E3-ish.

gamer.tv
We’re just not in a world where a video game expo is needed. Information is shared digitally, games, denies and alphas are readily available and I assume the industry has its own networking events.

I think even with sharing info digitally, there's something fun and exciting about live crowds and live gameplay. I miss the Playstation Experience showcases partly for this, and then having people try out live VR demos of games and things that are being worked on.
