Guest
My mother in law is here for her normal two month stay during November and December, which means I get fed alllllll my favorite traditional Mexican dishes. Went back to back mornings with these two meals and it really sets me up for a great day. Highly recommended

Joe
It’s supposed to be half soggy half crunchy. It’s about the contrast!

That's how I make chicken tortilla soup. Think of it less like soggy chips and more like thin dumplings.

Captain Pickle
They are truly great breakfasts. But if eggs Benny is on the menu, don’t even bother reading me the rest of the options.

So they never touch the salsa? Are you making chilaquiles without salsa? Or are you wrapping your chips in Teflon?

Cook the egg separate, add salsa to egg towards the end of them cooking. Combine separately. Then when you plate, tortilla, salsa, egg, salsa, avocado, cotija.
