TwinIon
According to IGN, JJ Abrams has confirmed that a Portal movie by Warner Bros is currently being written and "finally on the rails." Basically nothing else was revealed, even the names of the writers, but you can be sure that Abrams is all about a movie involve literal puzzle boxes. Kal-El814
I can’t imagine a franchise with a narrative I’m less interested in seeing a movie adaptation of than Portal.

Greatoneshere
Get Dan Trachtenberg to do it. He wrote and directed this as a fan film (see below) since he's a fan of the games before going on to direct the excellent 10 Cloverfield Lane and the really good Black Mirror episode "Playtest" (the one with Wyatt Russell as an American going to the UK for game testing). TheLeon
A young woman trapped in a mysterious lab, forced by a murderous AI to solve puzzles. It would be kinda funny if they turned that into a horror/thriller.
