  1. I never used a wired connection on Wii or Wii U since my connection has always been fine. A buddy of mine used it once before and he said the performance was better, but marginally so. But...y'know. Anecdotal evidence. The OG Switch and Switch Lite do not offer a wired connection out-of-the-box, but the newer OLED model does. For whatever that is worth.
  2. @Greatoneshere Nice! Yeah, I'll get around to playing Breath of the Wild. Someday. Someday... I've been out of the emulating scene for a while. All the computers in my house are Apple. Not sure there are even emulators for say, a MacBook Pro?
  3. Oh I like 3D Zelda just fine. I'm just not much of an "open world, go anywhere you want!" player. I don't mind a bit of freedom, but I do enjoy having some direction as well. Especially since lately my amount of "down time" that I get to game in is getting more and more limited as time goes on. I do already own Skyward Sword HD but I already played and beat it back on Wii. I got it just to add to the collection/sell for big bucks later, haha.
  4. It's pretty much the #1 game I play on Switch. Don't really play much else (though that may change on Friday once Pokémon Puzzle League hits the N64 Online service thing). Speaking of games from years ago, I suppose I should finally get around to playing Breath of the Wild. That's been on my to-do list for a while, haha.
  5. Nice, I bet that looked awesome! Did you like Breath of the Wild? Despite me being D1P's resident "Nintendo Fan" I have yet to actually play that game.
  6. As someone who got my ass kicked by you in Mario Tennis online,I totally agree with that!
  7. Thanks! I do my own nails. I don't trust nobody near these.
  8. How often do y'all play this game? All the time? Or not at all? I had an epic battle with a buddy of mine tonight and here is the ending. My Greninja vs his Luigi! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCeNWJ8Xlw8
  9. Playing some good ol' Puzzle Bobble on the NEO GEO Pocket Color this fine summer evening. On the OG hardware! I have no regerts.
  10. Fair enough! ....what are you emulating, anyway? I suspect it's old stuff, since their "newer" games with motion and IR aiming and touch screen/dual screen stuff would be...difficult? To emulate properly? Or maybe not? I'm not much into emulation. If that's even possible on a MacBook. Man, my Steam Deck can't get here fast enough.
  11. Aw hell yeah. Pokémon Puzzle League Is one of the best puzzle games of all time. Let's goooooooo....!!!
  12. You already messed up, because you didn't pay attention to the last thing I said. I already asked "what do I know?" so like... ...that's what I know. So I *think* we're on the same page. I feel the issue is overblown. Or maybe not! But for me? Nah.
  13. I’ll admit to having intermittent issues in *some* Smash matches online, but an overwhelming majority of them have been totally fine. I’ve had more issues playing Street Fighter on PS3/360/PS5. Not too much trouble with Guilty Gear except when doing “Cross Play” with my buddies (them on PS4, me on PS5). Slight framerate drop, but still totally playable. I’ve had no issues with Switch online with games like Mario Kart, Monster Hunter or Splatoon…Fortnite, Shredder‘s Revenge or Friday the 13th (RIP). I feel Nintendo’s online “issues” are overblown. Or maybe I’m just lucky. But what do I know. *shrugs*
  14. All of that is mostly fair, but I’m always confused why people love to dunk on Nintendo’s online. Net code works fine, and outside of their weird stance on Voice Chat (which is still available in some games) I’ve not had much of a problem with them online.
  15. Isn't LiveALive technically a re-release? I guess it's "new" to us here in North America... ...still, "B" list or not, this is a good line up of games. I'm not complaining!
  16. Glad you got your copy of Fragrant Story! And yeah, I'm keeping my eye out for LRG and Go! Go! Kokopolo! as well. Glad I'm getting a second chance at the DSiWare game.
  17. Damn, that sucks dude. Sorry to hear. Back in college assholes broke in and took several games and N64 controllers (in the dorms) for themselves. It's amazing how some people just think they deserve shit and take it from others.
  18. I like where your head is at! I guess I'll have the Deck by the time this game comes out (assuming I don't get pushed back even further) so....yeah. Good idea. That'll be the plan! Lollipop on Deck!
  19. I still have this game on my 360...I never finished it, and I'm not sure why. Now do I go ahead and play the game now, or just buy the remake and play that?
  20. I'd argue it made shooters *FAR* better. It made it so much easier to aim and shoot. I can't go back to normal controls for Resident Evil 4. And some games wouldn't really be possible without the pointer controls. Trauma Center and World of Goo for example wouldn't be the same without it, and be worse for it. It's true that when developers just tacked on "waggle" in place of a button press, it made games worse. But for the games that used motion properly, I wouldn't have it any other way.
