  1. It's the entire point. (Same guy from earlier in this thread that is kicking up the CRT dust)
  2. So is this due to capitalism or communism or am I just a tool of imperial Americas propaganda and/or former Cuban plantation owners who have lived in Miami for 60 years?
  3. A great number of bars in my Ohio college town sold popcorn because there had to be something available and it could just be snacks or something. Was great for college. VA has to have a certain % of sales must be food (iirc) and at least in Richmond has lead to some fantastic dining options here
  4. This board is lib and many seem to really lack a class consciousness, I'm guilty of that myself sometimes
  5. I cannot emphasize enough the abject failure of governance that causes California, specifically coastal California, to not have the fastest rate of growth in this country.
  6. this thread is wild. Goes from the conquest of the Americas causing an epidemic to Jim Crow causing a 40 year epidemic in the US (that was fixed only by the military requiring fortified corn grain) and leading California to be the food crop center of the US, not the southeast
  7. If you're only having beef once every couple weeks it doesn't matter how much sodium is in it or added tbh
  8. Just because they can drive it in the army doesn't mean they should. The business owners just want to rob Peter to pay Paul with regards to the trucking labor pool to try and keep a lid on wages
  9. If you can identify them well enough to literally send them a message, you can block them. Even if some use a VPN or whatever and don't get cought it will be enough to cause an issue
  10. Battery buses are a fucking scam Jesus just throw some catenary up and run electric
  11. A stronger safety net and anti discrimination regulations and oversight would be better than any credit score changes
  12. The largest impact you can make to your environmental impact (without working for an org like the NRDC) is to advocate and vote for representatives who support "traditional" environmental protections (nitrogen runoff and airborne particulate emissions as two examples) and massive reductions in carbon emissions, particularly in western countries) Systemic problems require systemic solutions.
  13. "It's not FDA approved" is going to quickly morph into "the Biden administration approved it illegally/ignoring science/whatever bullshit" so fast your head will spin
