Nintendo-don't... give a fuck. Their consoles are always profitable and it's the software and I.P.'s that push their brand. Why change that if it works for them? I agree they get a pass from gamers but it's a smart strategy business-wise. Because of their I.P.'s they make all of the tech talk irrelevant when it comes to their products.

i started the final mission the other day because I was ready for the game to end. Picked it back up today and reloaded an earlier save... decided to do a finish a few more questlines before I finish the game. Gonna finish Judy's questline and some more of Johnny's questline as well.

I'm hoping to tackle the two Ass. Creed games in my backlog, Odyssey and Valhalla. Also to continue attacking the various Souls and Souls like games in my backlog. I have a current run on Dark Souls 2 I need to get back to. I want to give my Switch more love as well... finally dig into Breath of The Wild and Hades. Play more VR games which should be easy now that two of my real life friends both have Quests. We're already planning some game nights. Go back and beat some Sony games that I need to finish... Horizon, Bloodborne and the expansions for Last of Us and Uncharted that I own. Those are my initial "gaming goals" for 2021.

That's why I said it sounds more like an issue with his PS5 than with the actual disc or game. Maybe something is up with the disc loading mechanism?

In typical D1P fashion, I check the thread thinking someone would have some insight as to what the potential issue could be that the O.P. is talking about but nope! Turns into a whole discussion about digital vs physical media and gives a bunch of folks another reason to restate opinions they've stated dozens of times in other threads

It's really this. Devs didn't get the final kits for the Xbox consoles until this past June. They had PS5 kits for a full year I believe.

It;s not just that for me though... coming off of The Witcher this game feels like a step BACKWARDS for them as a dev. Like it feels like to me, that they just had to polish what they had and put the game out. Game just feels like a mess of unrealized ideas and potential.

Pretty much my feelings as well... I've always been a multiconsole owner but the Xbox has been my primary console since the 360 primarily for how they handle online.

The fact that it won't eject the disc sounds like an issue with the PS5 to me and not the game.

I did that mission chain... definitely worth doing if you want to get those items. Not too tough either. I'm in the same boat as you though... I'm kinda ready to move on from the game for now. Maybe it will get better for me when I replay it in couple of weeks but ultmately this game did NOT live up to the hype or my expectations.

If I care enough about the game, ill eventually see everything on subsequent playthroughs. That's how I handled The Witcher 3 and the various Bioware games. I just didn't care enough about that particular quest to want to go further. Im ready to wrap this game up and wait for patches before I try to play again to be honest.

@Phaseknox did you get Avengers? You should because you'd probably like it and its cheap right now. 29.99 bucks. I know you're primarily a single player guy and you can play the whole game in its entirety solo.

No not all Quest games require you to stand up. You can sit with a good many of them.

This movie is getting absolutely wrecked on my social media.

I mean it's a role playing game so you're free to play the way you want. The game doesn't force you to play one way or the other. I did that mission you're talking about and while I was totally free to go in guns blazing, I did manage to stealth all the way in and all the way out undetected. The game could do a better job of rewarding one approach over the other but I DO admire the freedom it gives you in approaching how to tackle missions. Watchdogs Legion has a similar approach.

Nah it's fine here... it's actually discussing the content of the game. Some critics felt similarly about the Voodoo Boyz as well in the game. From what i understand in the original RPG the Voodoo Boyz were actually white and were a commentary on cultural appropriation. Not here.

On my inevitable second playthrough, I'll probably play as female V as well. I'm sure her voice acting is better than the guy's who is REALLY... not good.

For those who have finished the main story, you can keep playing content you haven't beaten afterwards right?
