@skillzdadirecta yeah it was tough to tell but the second episode was a different style than the first. The black and white made it tough to tell. But them transitioning to color at the end seemed to show it’ll be a bigger jump into episode 3

Unless they debut a 3rd person mode im gonna find it hard to care

Well obviously it’s going somewhere. It’s not like they’ve dropped hard to find, barely noticeable clues that something is going on. It’s pretty damn obvious and the second episode had more out of place stuff than the first. What are you all in a hurry for them to reveal and get to? Hurry up and get to the same boring, forgettable formula from the movies?

I downloaded 1 and 2 about 2 weeks ago on the psn. I had to first open Hitman 1 and register for the free IO account so that it links the first game to your account. Then upon firing up H2 it put me right into the first level with the house on the beach. You might be able to exit out of that to get to the main menu. I just played through it before finally getting to the main menu,where I registered H2 to my IO account. Then I was able to download the Legacy Hitman 1 levels so they appear in Hitman 2. THEN I was able to delete Hitman 1 from my PS5. It sadly isn't as clear or easy as some might think.

Lol so I bought 1 and 2 on PS Store since they were like $10. Then it gives me the option to download like 10 things for each game. I’m so god damn overwhelmed and confused trying to get into this franchise lol.

is what we would have said in 2017 when Hamill was pretty clear about his feelings towards TLJ. He said he hated the character when he first read it. But once he saw how it played in the context of the film he was more ok with it and respected the story that was being told.

If you go by what they say in the commentary it sounds like they pulled off a miracle. Also, not that it's a bad thing (as Kon justifies it in his own words) but they recycled some animation from Tokyo Godfathers and put it in this show, so maybe that could make the quality seem like more skill was involved than a normal show.

 

But also reading the Satoshi Kon book you're right, back in the day anime shows weren't a big thing, high profile ones at least. Cowboy Beebop was a big one of course and then Ghost in the Shell show was a show based off a popular anime but this was kind of the equivalent of Alfred Hitchcock presents in prestige (Guy who did Rebecca and Rear Window making a show! ) - Or something like that.

Yeah it can really suck sometimes. But, and I think I can speak for most Souls fans, there is no better feeling in all of gaming for us than when we finally take down a boss. It’s like crack lol

Yeah considering what they’re doing with the sitcom stuff the length is perfect. Those kinds of plots are 100% not meant to be stretched out over an hour. 
 

I thought I would hate it but I really enjoyed them. As a 50’s sitcom it works really well and they def nailed that aspect. And then they add just enough mystery and intrigue to keep you hooked. 

I grew up watching shows like that in syndication. But I could see a younger crowd not really being into it. 

So just so I’m clear. If I’ve never played either of the first two games but want to. I should buy them both on the PS Store. But don’t download them. Because they’ll be included in 3 as long as I own the first two already. And the DL size of all 3 is way smaller if I do it through H3 than if I DL’d them all individually?

Is that right?

Random side note. But I honestly can’t stand Anne Hathaway

This is one of my favorite books but the cast changes and especially the firing of Orlando Jones is too much for me. Now just hoping for a better version in 15-20 years

The fights in the last two finales are so bat shit over the top that I can’t stop smiling while I watch them. When the kid goes through the window I literally laughed “Holy Shit hahaha”

I also have only had 1 crash. And it was in Godfall which was a known bug in the game and has since been patched.

This was 100% true for me with TLG. I truly hated the first few hours of that game. I almost just stopped playing a couple times. But man am I so glad

i stuck with it. I finally got comfortable with the controls and the second half of that game is absolutely spectacular.

The fighting and choreo done in DD was sick. I'm not saying it needs to be authentic in CK but if you as a martial artist are sitting there saying these fights are good then...
