Am I missing the large group of people that want this show to continue without Cavill? Who’s asking for this? Will it end with Ciri doing her own version of “Flowers” and finding out new Geralt is a piece of shit?

I’m in, that looks great. Josh Hartnett is also criminally underrated. 

I finally got caught up. This is, with out exaggeration or any hyperbole, is one of the greatest pieces of media I have experienced. That last episode in particular. It should be getting talked about in the conversation for greatest individual episodes of television of all time. I really hope this show and its actors get the recognition they deserve

Agreed. I feel like this is an instance where the movie could/should be better than the book. I liked the book a lot but it def could have been more.

12 years really isn’t as much of a time jump as it seems in terms of the way people look. Paul’s what, 20 at the end of Dune? Little make up and the right lighting and your good.

The other thing I wanted was actual co-op, maybe mods. 

Never played the first one. I didn’t notice the similarities with the archer but once I switched to Warrior. Ohhhhh this is Monster Hunter combat HELL YEAH haha. The one thing I wish it had(besides Baldurs Gate level writing) is for the option to control the Pawns in a similar fashion to FFVII Remake. I want control over combos damnit!

The more I play the more I think this is just open world Monster Hunter w more exploration and somehow a worse story? I’m very much enjoying it don’t get me wrong. 

Warrior is fucking great! Uppercutting Ogre’s in the face with a massive sword is extremely satisfying.

I started over as well. Besides wanting to change the size of my character and pawn. I hate feeling like I missed stuff cause I didn’t know what I was doing. Enjoying it much more now. Also the archer sucks. 

I watched the first episode and I’m in. Never read the book. Books ruin things.

I also have a shitty archer. I just unlocked Warrior though so migh just cave and switch. I’m destined to only have fun using melee classes in every game 😔

Is there a guide to the different icons that appear on gear/weapons? I feel like I must be just missing it somewhere.

But in their video it appears the PS5 looks better than the series X. Though maybe they have the same Tv Best does. 

The Fextralife guy said he thought it looked and was running better on the PS5 as well.

Fextralife, which has become my go to for RPGs, said the game really didn’t start to click till between 20/30 hours and that it wasn’t until the endgame that it really starts to shine. He did love the game btw. 
 

Those are two pretty massive red flag deal breakers for me.
