  1. https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-announces-dlss-3-5-with-ray-reconstruction-launches-this-fall DLSS3.5 launches this fall -the major feature is Ray (Tracing) Reconstruction . First major title is Phantom Liberty @stepee @Mr.Vic20
  2. They just added this to their RDR2 frame generation mod. Essentially there’s now a check to make sure you’re a Patreon subscriber. I understand modders wanting to get paid for their work, but, Bethesda’s experimentation with “pay for mods” failed miserably for a reason. NexusMods allows donations to creators and it seems to work well.
  3. Yup, it was likely going to be an even worse Vietnam-style guerrilla war. The History Channel has a great documentary on X-Day plans (this was made back when the History Channel was actually educational like 20 years ago instead of filled with garbage )
  4. Estimated casualties post X-Day (planned invasion of Japan) were something like 800-900k, and that’s just Allied forces (mostly US) casualties. Unless I’m grossly misremembering, Japanese soldiers were encouraged to fight to the death with them being brainwashed into thinking that surrender or capture were the worst and most shameful things they could ever do. Yea, the bombs were atrocities, but an invasion of Japan likely would’ve been an even worse hellscape. I know there are arguments that Russia finally declaring war on Japan pushed them over the edge into the surrender (as the article talks about - and it’s something I learned in high school as well), but I really doubt Japan would’ve surrendered unconditionally without the bombs or a full on invasion and this article is using a hell of a lot of hindsight, IMO; Japan being demilitarized and the emperor no longer being worshipped as part of the surrender were two incredibly important things that needed to happen and shouldn’t be dismissed.
  5. BTW, @legend , since you were helping me earlier with my question about a noob build, I wanted to let you know that I decided to go Paladin with a Warlock multi class (because the combo, in theory, is kinda lulzy)
  6. Lol playing Paladin is a nightmare for the Save Maryina quest unless you want to be a giant prick or oathbreak. Thankfully the devs made so you can interact/dialogue as one of your party members instead of your main
  7. And this did not end with a bang, but with a whimper. (rabids: party of legends)
  8. The reviews for Strays is about what I expected
  9. I thought the tweet being hyperbolic was kind of obvious. Giving the actual numbers is fine and helpful, however, I’d also argue that whether there’s 20 cases or 200 cases of malaria, it’s kinda “wtf” considering the other diseases popping up in FL near-simultaneously, alongside the rarity (in the US) of all of them. For instance, Dengue is not common in the US, but it does happen, there’s been 1 case in Texas recently, but 10 cases in FL. It’s an odd coincidence that many of these uncommon diseases are seemingly having their highest numbers this year in one specific state.
  10. I mean, this thread is about Leprosy in FL which is why I posted here and not the GOP thread, so I really have no idea what the issue is.
  11. Yea, my post wasn’t blaming the Meatball, though, without doing any research, am sure that the Florida CDC is in shambles since he became governor
