I have a 77” 4k LG OLED. It’s in no way big enough to where 8k would really be worth it unless I was sitting like 3 feet away I’m not the biggest believer in this chart tbh, but the jump between 4k and 8k isn’t as big as 1080p to 4k was (just like how SD to 1080p is even more noticeable than 1080p to 4k). The most noticeable thing is that you can sit super close and won’t notice any loss in quality due to the pixel density of 8k.

I definitely didn’t see this getting a second season, I thought S1 ended in a fairly “complete” way, but here’s hoping it’s good!

I kinda question the value of 8k considering how good of a job DLSS does at cleaning up aliasing while retaining image clarity/quality vs traditional AA. Prior to upscaling tech being this damn good 8k and (especially) 12k resolutions were an awesome goal in the fight against aliasing, but it currently doesn’t seem as big of a deal. I dunno.
